No Tents or sleeping in cars that do not have shower and toilet facility. We are a 4 minute drive from the historical town of Gladstone, which has a bakery, butcher, general store, retail shops, fruit and veg shop, nursery, cafes, restaurants, an op-shop, second hand wares shop, galleries, outdoor swim centre and of course the local pub. Gladstone Markets are on the 3rd Sunday of the month. It's a 20 minute drive to South West Rocks, Hat Head and Crescent Head. Just 45 minutes north of Port Macquarie and 1 hour south of Coffs Harbour. Please arrive before dark, or advise arrival time if not possible . You must be fully self contained, there are no facilities. Please no tents or swags. Enjoy a beautiful campsite near a large dam, watch the ducks, rosellas, cranes, herons and the occasional Jabiru, feed and nest in the trees. A great spot for bird watching. Pick your own spot, maybe near one of the fire braziers, but not directly under the trees if windy. No livestock on property but we have visiting kangaroos, tortoises, green frogs, and eels in the dam if you want to fish for them. Mid Coast Flying operate a private 800 metre airstrip on the property, and Trial Instructional Flights (TIFS) are available, for $150 for 45 minutes. Please speak to Ross when you arrive. You can pick your own site. Unfortunately we may have to close after torrential rain events. We are also pet friendly, however there are no bins, so please pick up after your pets in the camping area. Water is available near the hangar as you drive in.

We’re located opposite Rawdon Creek Nature Reserve with pristine waterways to explore. Free use of large 3 man canoe and high tide ramp available for small boats. Plenty of pure fresh rainwater to fill your van. Our pristine campsite location means we cannot provide toilets. WE ONLY ALLOW CARAVANS, MOTORHOMES or CAMPER TRAILERS with a working toilet. There is plenty of space in the paddocks, with a choice of open grasslands and shaded areas with trees. You will need to be fully self-contained with own camping toilet/shower and water supply. Cut firewood for sale or you can gather your own.  Your dog is welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times and in your control.  Please ensure you get in touch before with a phone call or text with your ETA for arrival so we can meet you at the gate. Please note camping allowed only in paddocks as the rest of the farm is off-limits. This camp is a quaint and quite spot by the river. We were lucky enough to largely be there by ourselves and had a very relaxing time. The fish on the tally board as well. The owner also allowed us to use some of his rain water to fill up our van. Six nights of tranquil quietness. Highly recommended!!

Best camping right on the river banks, lovely grassy sites spent the week fishing and relaxing. Nothing was too much trouble for Scott and even brought down a pot to throw in the river. Loved we had full use of rhw camp kitchen to ourselves. Will definately be back.

Trees both side provide shade throughout the day.

Scott and Marg are lovely hosts. Site 4 was fabulous for fishing. Managed to land several bream and a flathead. Did get a chance to throw a crab pot in but looks like it would be good at the end of the site. Well kept site with a great outlook on the creek.

We loved camping at Site 1. We had exclusive use of the camp kitchen and plenty of space to spread out. Scott and Marg are terrific hosts, friendly and welcoming. Only 25 mins inland from Port Macquarie, a cafe just 5 mins away and 10 mins off the Pacific Highway, we highly recommend this place for either a stop over or a week's stay. We stayed for 3 nights and loved it. The fishing was great as well! Thanks Scott and Marg.

I’ve camped at Scotts Property many times, and Site 4 is definitely a favourite. It’s beautifully maintained and offers the kind of peaceful retreat that makes you feel a million miles away from life’s worries. A standout feature for me is the natural beauty — looking across the river to the untouched bushland is a view that seems unchanged for hundreds of years and gives you hope it’ll remain that way for hundreds more. It’s the kind of place that’s good for your soul.
