You'll be only 400 meters walking distance to the town centre and 50 meters from the cycling/walking tracks. Power and town water is available.

Our 300-acre off-grid property backs onto the Barmah National Park. From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up.
NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here.
We're located just 5kms north-east of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage.
We offer a few large, beautiful, basic bush camping sites (the best kind!) in amongst 50 acres of bushland, with 100's of meters and trees between you and other potential campers.
The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep.
Campers must take out what you bring in.
Mobile phone service and internet is usually reliable, though with long weekends and summer school holidays the service seems to disappear! Completely. We suggest downloading (before leaving home) your Spotify faves and Maps for this area then you can't go wrong.

The farm is completely surrounded by the Wellsford state forest which offers bush walking and many tracks for bike riding. Mt Sugarloaf which is situated south of the property provides a great hike. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets create beautiful reflections on the water in the numerous dams on the property. Rainfall can restrict access to some sites on the property.
The city of Bendigo is 25mins drive. Epsom is a 15min drive where you will find a shopping centre which includes a petrol station, Woollies, Pizza, Chemist Warehouse, Aldi, Brumbys Bakery, Reject Shop, Fish and Chips and BWS. Lake Eppalock is a 25min drive where you can engage in water sport activities. The Campaspe River is 10mins away.

The city of Bendigo is 25mins drive. We had such a wonderful stay at Eden Farm! My friends and I truly had an amazing camping experience at Gary’s farm. The place is peaceful, spacious, and perfect for anyone wanting to relax and enjoy nature away from the busy city.
Gary was a very welcoming and accommodating host, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The farm has a beautiful, laid-back atmosphere that made our trip extra special, perfect for bonding, camping, and simply unwinding.
We especially loved the open space, fresh air, and calm surroundings. One of the highlights of our stay was enjoying the campfire at night and stargazing under the clear sky, such a relaxing and memorable experience.

Goulburn Downs is a gorgeous property. I camped at the river crossing and it was amazing! The river is easy to access, with many different areas to set up camp. I was far enough from other campers that I didn’t hear or see them, but it was nice knowing there were other people around. Tim was so lovely and checked on me to make sure I was okay. Will 100% come back! Thanks Tim!

We had a lovely relaxing time at Tim's place. He met us at the gate and guided us to the camp site 4 by the river. Each site is far enough away to give you plenty of privacy. Our dogs loved swimming in the river. Thank you for sharing your land. We will definitley be back!

Gary is very helpful, he setup high speed internet which we used for using our projector. Toilets are clean, very good sky view. Sites are very big. Mainly kids loved the milking demonstration from Gary. Highly recommend.

Lovely picturesque spot by the Goulburn River. Nice flat spot. Only downside was access to water is a little difficult and very steep, especially with kids.
Tim was a fantastic host, so friendly and helpful with great communication, but gave us our privacy.
We had a last minute guest and Tim was so accommodating.
Will look to be back at another of Tim's spots with some easier access to the water :)

Had a wonderful time camping at Axedale Farm Stay Creekside. The area for campers is set among the gum trees along the banks of the Axe Creek. The site is nice and flat, private with a great fire pit. Was so nice to hear the call of the Powerful Owl during the night, the cicadas after a small amount of rain and the cockatoos and kookaburras.
So close to Brndigo and the local State Parks. Highly recommend... Thanks Emma

Quiet spot with trees to provide shade but placed to allow sun to get to the roof solar panels. Easy access to paddock from Somerville Lane - very roomy sites to provide plenty of space around every campsite even if all sites are occupied. We chose off grid but hosts are developing an area of powered sites. sites.

If you want to camp close to the waterfront and are fully self sufficient then look no further. Great location not far from IGA. The land is super big so no need to worry about being too close to someone and there are lots of fire pits scattered around.

This property is absolutely incredible! We were greeted on arrival and given a run down of the facilities (which are beautiful!). The hosts were the best I’ve ever had on a Hipcamp stay. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get away to enjoy peace and quiet with ample space. Our kids and dog loved it!

We had the best time at Kerry and Ben’s place. Kerry came to check in on us when we were setting up, and she was very welcoming. She gave us a tip on where to swim in the Murray which was a lovely spot. The camp site was lovely and flat, and we loved the little tub - good for the dog and us on an hot summer’s day. The outdoor shower did not disappoint. It has been well designed with just enough privacy but also an amazing view. We appreciated Kerry and Ben going above and beyond to ensure we had the best trip to Echuca/ Moama. We will be back :)
