Yarrawin is 680 acre cattle farm and hardwood timber plantation in the heart of the Nambucca Valley, offering scenic, secluded, private campsites with their own swimming hole and a river gravel beach on 3km of beautiful double river frontage. Camping options include riverside camps, the Shack and riverside camp and a large secluded valley. Each campsite is separate from the others, giving guests privacy and exclusive use of the swimming hole (except Chinamans Valley) at their site. All riverside sites offer a natural gravel beach entry into the water. There are no amenities here, campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. Every site has a fire pit which must be used for campfires. If you want to use your own it must be off the ground. Only sand mats or similar, NO TARPS, to be set up on the grassed areas to preserve the grass. Firewood $20/night (CASH ONLY PLEASE). Please let us know in advance if you want firewood. Beautiful drinking rain water is available in a 20lt Jerry can if required on arrival. Bird lovers can enjoy watching the various bird varieties, as well as ducks. Animals include wallabies, goannas, deer and fish as well as cattle and stock horses. Fishing is okay but it is STRICTLY catch and release ONLY. There are many places to go bushwalking, either following the river or heading up the valleys or hiking up the hills through the trees. The property is just 10kms from the convenience of Bowraville, a historic township with a supermarket, folk museum, a war museum, a historic theatre, and other historic buildings. Nambucca Heads and the beautiful surrounding beaches are just 27kms east and Coffs Harbour 80kms away. Please note this is a working farm, so there will be cattle and stock horses on the property that may approach your campsite.

This is an open paddock with no designated camp areas. There are numerous spots that are relatively flat, although some may require minor levelling. No power or water is available at the campsites. However, there is a basic toilet near our house and fresh rainwater available for refilling jerry cans if needed. A pool is available for tired travellers in need of a refreshing swim — it’s located up at our house. Fire pits are available, with a limited supply of firewood provided. Enjoy a private location that gives travellers the ultimate place to rest and take in the amazing sunsets to the west and the views of Yarriabini National Park to the east, just an 8 km drive away. Never Never Park is a Sub-Tropical Rainforest property which borders the ancient Gondwana World Heritage National Park on 2 sides including along Coopernook creek. Located half an hours drive Northeast of Dorrigo and 1 hour West of Coffs Harbour (via Eastern Dorrigo Way) in the beautiful Bellingen Shire, surrounded by various National Parks with 4WD tracks, crystal clear creeks, waterfalls, cascades, swimming holes and picnic areas. The property is 400 acres featuring spring fed mountain streams, cascades and waterfalls that run through its central gorge. First surveyed in 1906 and logged in the days of bullocks and hand saws, remnants of a bygone era remain including the “Jack Feeney Memorial Giant Tallowwood Tree”, a Champion Tree of Australia listed in the National Register of Big Trees. It’s over 50m tall, more than 1000 years old, and was around long before Captain Cook reached our shores. The landscape starts in dense Sub-Tropical Rainforest opening up to lush green pastures overlooking the amazing views to the west showcasing hedge-rowed rolling hillsides and 1600m high mountain range towards Marengo. You get to share it with a couple of horses and a few cows but it's ok they don't like sleeping in tents or caravans. Sunsets, sunrises and night time star gazing. It's an ideal place to de-stress and reconnect with nature. Welcoming self - contained campers who bring there own amenities. There is access to drinking water but otherwise everything is BYO and take away all your rubbish please. You can choose to either be completely secluded and away from everyone. 4WD access or walk in with tents. Or you can set up closer to the entrance road and roadway (more suitable to caravans). There are lovely walks on the property itself or go for a casual stroll up the dirt road but watch out for the 3 or 4 cars every couple of hours or so. Views are amazing, air is incredible and the night sky is breathtaking. Campfires are possible but only in some months. The ideal place to get away from it all but close enough to Coffs Coast Tourist attractions, including amazing places to eat. Your pet is welcome to camp with you, but please do not let them stray onto neighbours' farms or chase stock. They run the risk of being baited or shot. There is stock on the property so please leave all gates as you find them. If they are open they stay open. If closed they stay closed.

DIRECTIONS FROM GRAFTON To travel from Grafton, NSW to 593 Laytons Range Road, Nymboida, NSW via Coutts Crossing, follow these step-by-step directions: 1. Start in Grafton, NSW. 2. Head south on the Pacific Highway (A1) towards South Grafton. - Cross the Clarence River, then follow signs for Glen Innes. 3. Exit onto Gwydir Highway (B76) heading west. 4.Turn left onto Armidale Road (towards Coutts Crossing and Nymboida). - This turn is about 10 km from South Grafton. 5. Continue on Armidale Road for approximately 17 km to reach Coutts Crossing. 6. Drive through Coutts Crossing, staying on Armidale Road towards Nymboida. Coming from Armadale: 7. Follow Armidale Road for approximately 20 km beyond Coutts Crossing. 8. Turn right onto Laytons Range Road. 9. Continue on Laytons Range Road for about 5.9 km. 10. Arrive at 593 Laytons Range Road, Nymboida, NSW. Turn Left at the Bronze YAPUNYAH sign. If you get to the BLACK MOUNTAIN ROAD sign you need to turn around. We are about 800m from the sign

Katie met us at the gate. She was very friendly and offered her pool to the kids. There is a toilet at the back of the garage and the wide open paddock. Molly (Katie's dog) was an absolute hit with the kids! She is super friendly and playful. The scenery is quite beautiful too - rolling hills on the background, so tranquil. I would definitely recommend Katie's farm for family with kids.

We had a fantastic stay at vallis oakes. Very relaxing with a beautiful stream flowing through. Lots of places to swim and explore. Our dogs had the time of their life being able to roam. Sammy was very friendly and accommodating.

Weekend Trip to Windermere Farm

We had a lovely one night stay, very peaceful and beautiful property. With only 3 sites its spaced out very well and very private but we were lucky to have it all to ourselves with no other campers - but did get to share it with Annie and Peter’s gorgeous welsh horses including 2 month old Betty! Also got to meet Ned and Patrick, the working collies. Our spot on the river was magic. Even a few showers of rain didn’t dampen the mood. We highly recommend this beautiful spot, only 10mins from Hat Head. Thanks Annie and Peter!

1 night at Riverside Farm Stay

This was by far our favourite stay in NSW. Louise and her husband were extremely welcoming and kind, the property was just breathtaking by the water. Had heaps of fun feeding the animals in the morning as well. Toilets were extremely neat and tidy.

1 night at Windermere Farm

We had a great stay at Annie and Peter’s camping area. The location is beautiful, set right on the river with a peaceful, open outlook. The grassy area was well kept, and with only three sites, everything felt quiet and spacious. Each site is well separated, so you get plenty of privacy. It's also a great place for anyone wanting a good fishing spot by the water. Annie and Peter were lovely hosts and have thought of everything to make it an enjoyable place to stay. We'll be back!

Weekend Trip to Riverwood 383 Fish off the Banks

Camping at Tassie Bushland was very peaceful and quiet, only one lot of fellow campers there at the same time. Where we were camped it was easy to fish off the bank. Short drive to Bellingen where the shops were interesting, and the local pub served lovely food.

We left booking extremely late, got into Coffs Harbour around 6pm in a campervan and didn’t realise all the park receptions shut at 6… found this place and checked in at 7:30. Super easy and efficient, beautiful stay with lots of animals and toilets.

Vallis Oakes is raw and absolutely stunning. The swimming is next level, fresh, clean, untouched water that will not dissapoint..Our host Sammy went out of his way to make sure our stay was everything we hoped for..Absolutely recommend to anybody that needs to escape the normal and reset.

Amazing place to rest your head's on this private land and would recommend to anybody. Our cocker spaniel had so much fun with all the gated land and the owners dog Molly. The owners were so bloody canny, even got 4 fresh eggs off them for breaky. Very happy

I enjoyed tent camping there, it's very peaceful and the animals are friendly too. There are horses, and a Shetland pony, geese galore, roosters of various kinds, and some magnificent Lyrebirds. The host was friendly and helpful, all in all a top spot!
