Suitable for swimming, canoes, bikes, Bass fishing, and hiking, the Colo River Hut can be as active or relaxing as you wish. Weekend Trip to Rosewood Farm's Riverside Glamping

Stayed for 2 nights on the weekend with the family, it was lovely and my girls had the best time. The tent was spacious & clean. The host made the space very aesthetic and cozy. And out stay comfortable There was Double bed and 2 single bed all with beddings, pillows and duvet covers perfect for family of 4 or any group of 4. Everything needed for camping is there, Bbq, fridge, kettle toaster, so really we only need to bring some change clothes. The host also prepared some torches for my girls, lantern and spare batteries incase we need them, very thoughtful :) And there’s a beautiful river nearby which was lovely for water play, quick dip, or just simply enjoy the nature . There’s also some beautiful pools with waterfalls cascades that require abit of hike 15-20 mins, we chose not to go because we have a 4yo with us. The highlights for my daughters was the farm animals, Melissa lets them join in every feeding while we were there - lots of animals feeding & patting time, it was truly an experience for them. This place is truly gems! Only abt 1 hour from Sydney But feels secluded & private, shops are only 5 mins drive from the property. Its the easiest most convenient camping experience you’d have! Highly recommended! We will be back for sure

Unbelievable spot! The furry friends are a great added bonus. Mel was a fantastic host and had thought of everything we needed. We were spoilt with pure sunshine and magic stars both days. Loved exploring mermaid pools and having a dip at see thru pools highly recommend.

This is a magical place, where a lot of effort has been put into detail - not only are the caravans themselves vintage, so are the interiors and accessories (including a sunburst clock). We had a lovely relaxing time with many photo opportunities!

Weekend Trip to Jila Camp Grounds

Our family with young kids and small dogs loved our time there. The tents were nice and spacious, and we liked the provided linen. The toilets were modern and clean, and we enjoyed the large shared firepit in the middle. The highlight was spending the hot days down at the river - it had a lovely atmosphere and was shallow enough for the kids and dogs to wade through. It is a bit tricky to walk up and down the embankment, especially if you're carrying a toddler or baby. The road into the campground is a little rough for a sedan or typical car, but no issue for a SUV. Great option for a first-time family camping trip - we will be back!

Weekend Trip to Colo River Hut

We lovedthe peace and and quiet. The views from the hut while washing up were nice. The hut was a great social space. The kids loved the river for kayaking and paddle boarding. The firepit was well stocked, though as there was fire ban we saddly did not try it out. The cows and Jeffrey the Emu were a nice relaxing find. Weekend Trip to Rosewood Farm's Riverside Glamping

Our family trip to riverside glamping was fantastic. In the tent everything was neat and pretty with a welcome treat, and Melissa was super helpful and made sure we had no issues. Kids loved feeding the animals, and we even explored few of the recommended places that was mentioned in the file at the tent. The view from the tent is amazing, and wake up mornings with many different bird songs.

It is very clean and makes you feel most comfortable during camp. It was so nice that the inside of the tent was spacious and clean, and the bathroom shower was also very clean for use as an outdoor bathroom and shower. The campfire was also set up without danger, which was great for the kids and even better because there were not many bugs.

Weekend Trip to Silky Oaks Flower Farm

Highly recommend silky oaks. I was in the retro Glamping and there was everything you needed. Bed, bbq, outdoor chairs, fridge, kettle, fan and heater if needed. Outdoor shower with hot water and toilet. Great location close to Sydney but still peaceful and private. Lots to do wander around the farm, feed the horses (bring carrots) or explore the area. Highly recommend. The camping site were great too by the look of it.

The tent is set up in a beautiful location with a view on the campfire and the gorge. But most of all our family loved the pygmy goats. It was so great to be able to pet, hug and play with them all day long. The host display super hospitality, when the next guests canceled we were allowed to do a very late check out, basically getting another day at the farm. Thanks so much!

Excellent hut onsite for shade or weather protection.

Weekend Trip to Colo River Hut

Wonderful camp with plenty of flat land. Fantastic facilities with amenities, power, and shade and river access for launching a kayak. Host provided firewood for the first night which was very much appreciated. Stunning night skies if it is clear. Love that you have it to yourself so it truly is a relaxing camp. Easy to find and great host directions. Thanks Richard!

Weekend Trip to Jila Camp Grounds

We had a wonderful stay at Jilla Flash Camp and highly recommend it. The tents were comfortable and clean, and although we initially thought there might be mould, Bill kindly reassured us they were just gumtree stains. We had originally booked two tents due to capacity, but Phil went out of his way to adjust our booking so the kids could stay together, which we really appreciated. The camp kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the beds were cozy and restful. The highlights of our stay were spending time by the creek and gathering around the firepit—both made the experience truly memorable. Overall, a very pleasant and enjoyable stay!

Glamping at rosewood was a great experience, perfect spot for a weekend getaway that is secluded but close enough to shops and restaurants. Mel was a great host that made sure our stay was most comfortable. The hike to the mermaid pools is a must do!

Weekend Trip to Jila Camp Grounds

This was a great set up for our young family with new, clean shower and bathroom facilities. I imagine if it's fully booked the kitchen facilities would be stretched. And while the shower was lovely and hot, the kitchen water wasn't. I'd love to come back and hang out by the amazing fire pit, but with just the three of us it seemed a little overkill. The setting was grassy with plenty of shady trees. My young sons and I had a great time exploring the riverside, balancing on huge fallen trees and losing shoes in the quicksand. And the mini soccer field and slackline / climbing area were a bonus. Description and directions were spot on, and the host is kindly facilitating returning something we left behind. I'd recommend a visit for sure.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay at Rosewood Farm! It is a stunning spot and the hosts were very kind and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved sitting around the fire pit under the stars at night and exploring their length of the pristine Bargo river below by day. We're hoping to come back in summer!
