Silky Oaks is one of Australia’s largest private collections of Native Australian plants. Set on 30 acres; there is 3 lakes, manicured gardens, a cut-flower plantation, rainforest, and orchard to wander. Our Glamping Van's are Set direct on lakefront and our BYO camp spots are in the flower plantation. Oakdale is a lovely rural area; you will pass cow paddocks, mountains and beautiful country vistas on your drive to the property. The area is a mix of houses, hobby farmers, homes on acreage, equestrian centres, produce growers and National Park. There is a glorious look-out in the National Park overlooking the Warragamba dam. Some days it is swept with clouds; enveloping you into the majestic heavens. It’s an easy ten min drive away. There is local towns 15mins drive for eating out and getting coffee.

Green Retro Glamping
Escape & Relax...
We loved our stay at Silky Oaks! Perfect spot to escape & relax... The green retro campervan had just the right amount of mod-cons, and certainly added to the chilled vibe of the surrounding property. David was wonderful with communication and everything was easy to find. Would definitely come back and can highly recommend!

Site 4 - Garden. Larger site.
Lovely quiet spot with beautiful native gardens and woodland. David was very accommodating to help get an appropriate site for a one night stay after lots of rain. Easy access.

Pink Retro Glamping! Sleeps 2
Glamping
This is the best camping experience we ever had! Our one night trip went so well! The caravan is so cute. Everything is inside. We enjoyed a movie at night with the firepit to keep us warm and cozy, while laying on the sun lounges. What a beautiful and relaxing view of the trees and lake. We ran out of gas but David is so polite and helpful. Overall experience is 101/100🤩🤩🤩 Well definitely come back again one day.

Pink Retro Glamping! Sleeps 2
Thoroughly enjoyed our experience in the camper trailers. The host was super responsive and put a lot of effort into preparation which we appreciated a lot. Amazing scenery. Definitely recommend and will be back!
