Situated on a plateau at a height of 1130m above sea level, Oberon is on the western fall of the Blue Mountains. Enjoy the nearby spectacular scenery, Jenolan Caves, alpine lake, Mayfield and other fabulous cool climate gardens. The showground is a short walk to shops and restaurants, pubs and clubs. Ange and Tony were the perfect hosts, a clever mix of helping with where to find the right parking spot, advice on the local wildlife ( with two dogs) and keeping a low profile so we could have total privacy. Listening to and watching birds by the river, frog sounds at night, wallabies at dusk, the stars at night were all fabulous. The added bonus was a pizza delivered to my van. It was honestly the best pizza I have ever eaten, with locally sourced produce. I also enjoyed limited internet and phone coverage( if needed I could have walked up the hill). Highly recommended.

We had a lovely time camping at Katie’s property. Katie and her family were very accommodating and our kids loved playing together on the equipment and helping feed the horses in the morning. It was a bonus having a shower and toilet at the property too. For anyone looking for a safe place to stay with a great family atmosphere, this place is what you are looking for. We enjoyed our family camping trip at Pepper Tree! Our girls loved roaming the property and patting all the horses and our son was busy on his BMX. Nice and relaxing camping by the horses. Katie the host was very nice as were her family who our kids enjoyed playing and riding with. Thanks Katie!

We absolutely loved our stay here, the property is simply stunning. It’s perfectly secluded, right on the stream, and surrounded by beautiful scenery that makes you instantly relax. We dealt with Tony during our stay, and he was an absolute legend, really accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed, even checking in when the rain came through. And also giving some solid fishing advice We’ll definitely be booking again, our only worry now is that it’s going to be booked out all the time!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The hosts were so lovely and helpful. Nothing was too much for them. We had the best few days here, so peaceful and spacious! The location was amazing, so close to Sydney and the blue mountains. Absolutely beautiful outlook, the property was so pretty! The grass campsite was great, no dirt was brought into the van. The kids had access to a playground, trampoline and cubby house. The hosts children were super friendly and took our girls around the property, they bathed a horse and went on the buggy around feeding the animals. I would 100% recommend this camp to anyone. It was absolutely beautiful, look no further, book in here!

Camping by the river was fantastic. It was our group's only use. The quiet sound of the river was a soothing white noise that helped us fall asleep. The most impressive and enjoyable part was the breakfast box: a freshly baked loaf of bread and homemade jam. The butter was so soft, the eggs were fresh, the sausages bacon were simply indescribably delicious. Would we visit again? Absolutely. It will be our family's favorite camping spot. We're also incredibly grateful to Tony and Angela for their kindness.

We loved camping at Windy Oaks and will definitely be back! Thank you for making us feel so welcome! We stayed at the River campsite. The site was easy to access, slashed, large and level. The river was easy to reach too. We ordered pizzas and a charcuterie board for the first night! These were all absolutely amazing and highly recommended! We also tried the breakfast hamper which didn't disappoint with homemade fresh bread and baked beans. Thank you so much for having us and sharing your beautiful spot with us

My family really enjoyed staying at Tom's Farm, and would definitely be back again. We had the whole place to ourselves, and there was plenty to do - fishing, collecting firewood, reading, riding bikes, exploring, spotting wildlife. The cabin was an unexpected luxury. Three days flew by. Our dog had the time of his life, too!

I had a wonderful experience at this campsite last week! The location was absolutely beautiful — surrounded by nature, peaceful, and perfectly maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The facilities were clean and well-organized, making the stay very comfortable. I especially loved how family- and pet-friendly the atmosphere was, and how easy it was to relax and enjoy the scenery. It’s clear that the team truly cares about providing a great experience for visitors. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends and can’t wait to come back again soon!
