Kenzell Farm is a 250 acre working cattle farm, just 10-minutes from Jenolan Caves and 20 minutes from Oberon. We have a breeding program in miniature Highland cattle and miniature goats.   Our family run farm is also home to Speckle Park cattle (some of the prettiest cows you will ever see), horses, ponies, miniature donkeys, pigs, camels, alpacas, llamas, fallow deer, miniature goats, guinea pigs and bunnies - and that’s just the start! In fact, we have more than 24 different types of animals on our farm.  We offer many different opportunities to meet our resident farm animals - from Farm tours, High Tea with the Goats, Donkey tours and Camp Oven cook ups. We also offer General Admission at other times. Available from 10am - 4pm, Weekends and School holidays. Other times by appointment.  Our farm experiences are fabulous for individuals, couples, families and even large groups (we’ve also hosted hens weekends). Mckeown’s Rest, situated at Kenzell Farm is a bnb available for overnight stays. Camping is also available via Hipcamp.We have drinking water available for campers, however, no toilets or showers so you'll need to bring your own camp loo and take all waste with you. Pets welcome but to be kept on a lead, please and poop picked up. You are welcome to have fires in the provided drum/firepit. Wood is provided and can also be collected from the property for use during your stay.

Kenzell Farm is a 250-acre multi-generation cattle farm, in the stunning Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage area. We have numerous animals here including miniature goats and sheep, alpacas, geese, ducks, turkeys, peacocks and guinea fowl. A real menagerie! While not staying at the house Hip-campers are welcome to visit the animals. please be mindful of privacy and don't walk around the actual house gardens. We have rolling green hills, sweeping views and incredible sunrises. This campsite is nearer to the main homestead on level, grassed/gravel areas,  where you can get a great vantage point of the views. it is close to the road but suitable for all vehicle types in wet weather. We welcome self-contained campers only, to enjoy peace and privacy, in what is a convenient base for exploring this iconic part of Australia.  We're adjacent to the Kanangra Boyd National Park and 25km from Kanangara Walls, and just a short 5-minute drive to the iconic Jenolan Caves, one of the worlds most stunning limestone cave systems.  We have drinking water available at the house for campers if you run out, however, no toilets or showers so you'll need to bring your own camp loo and take all waste with you. Pets welcome but to be kept on a lead, please. We have a  firepit for your campfire, and provide firewood free-of-charge, you just need to collect it yourself. This site is exposed in windy wet weather.

This site is close to the road and suits those with 2wd/large vans as it stays high and dry. You are welcome to park up on gravel or move onto grass area on west facing area of yards. We have rolling green hills, sweeping views and incredible sunrises. The two campsites we offer are nearer to the main homestead on level, grassed areas,  where you can get a great vantage point of the views. We welcome self-contained campers only, to enjoy peace and privacy, in what is a convenient base for exploring this iconic part of Australia.  We're adjacent to the Kanangra Boyd National Park and 25km from Kanangara Walls, and just a short 5-minute drive to the iconic Jenolan Caves, one of the worlds most stunning limestone cave systems.  We have drinking water available at the house for campers if you run out, however, no toilets or showers so you'll need to bring your own camp loo and take all waste with you. Pets welcome but to be kept on a lead, please. A wildlife adventure!

I had the most incredible time solo camping at this property! I will not soon forget the sounds of the wildlife, the brightness of the stars at night and the breathtaking beauty of the land. It was so special interacting with the VERY friendly farm animals. I honestly cant wait to return. Thank you so much to the wonderful hosts!

Nice peaceful stay at site Number 2. Generator allowed was great as we needed the power to run our AC. Looks like the owners are renovating the area. Should be a excellent camp site once finish. Excellent spot, close by to all the places we wanted to visit.

This spot is really lovely, peaceful, and quiet with no crowds. Just a heads up, there are no toilets or water available, so be sure to prepare yourself. I'm also sharing some drone photos 📸

Campsite 1, The Cattle Yards, was a little tricky to find at first — the Google Maps directions and listing description could definitely use some tidying up. But once we arrived, it was absolutely worth it! The campsite was very clean, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning views. We even had a few friendly visitors — some cows and two camels. One of them looked so sleepy that we ended up naming him Gerald, which gave us a good laugh every morning. It does get very cold at night, so definitely pack plenty of blankets and layers. There’s little to no phone signal in the area, which turned out to be a bonus since it made for a perfect off-grid escape for a few days. Someone had accidentally taken our reserved spot, but we set up elsewhere without any issues, and no one seemed to mind. Overall, it was a beautiful, quiet stay — a bit of an adventure getting there, but once you do, it’s a truly special place. Thank you for having us!

Kenzell Farm is a beautiful and peaceful escape. We would highly recommend this Farm for an offgrid camping experience. Being able to be hands on with the many animals around the paddocks was a highlight for our family. A big thank you to Jacqui for being so welcoming and opening her Farm for a relaxing break.

We had an awesome stay! The farm animals tour was great, my girls especially loved the baby bunnies, and baby goat Peltch was soo cute. The land was great for exploring and Jacqui was a great host. We are planning on going back. Definitely recommend a stay.

We enjoyed our time at Kenzell Farm we will be back again to experience spring or summer. We met Jackie and Brian who were very accommodating hosts. The kids loved all the animals and enjoyed exploring the farm.

If you want to enjoy peace and the crisp, freezing cold of early autumn mornings, don’t hesitate—pack your bags, this is the spot. Surrounded by nature and not far from town in case you need supplies. Just a heads-up: mobile phone reception isn't great out here.

We loved camping in this farm. It was so peaceful and clean environment. We had our privacy as each campsite is faraway from each other. The only issue was the signage of each campsite which wasn’t very clear. Overall I highly recommend staying at this site.

Lovely, picturesque spot with easy access for our hybrid vans. Jacqui is a wonderfully welcoming host, with great tips for sleeping in the cold! Great to have a fire at night as it got chilly. Lots of local activities to do, the farm animals were great, recommend booking an experience in early!

Our family had a great time at kenzell farm. It was a terrific first camping experience for our young kids. They loved interacting with the animals up close. Plenty of supplied firewood was a nice touch ensuring we could keep the firepit going all day.

A beautiful piece of land to enjoy nature, The Sunset's were just magical and the visit from the Camels were very special. We spent most of our time by the creek relaxing. The owners were very nice and friendly. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us :-)

We loved camping at Kenzell Farm, the location is perfect and our camping spot was flat and in great condition. Being in such close proximity to Kanangra walls and Jenolan was great and Oberon is only 15 mins drive away if you need anything. Being visited by camels in the morning is awesome for the kids. We will definitely be back.

Me and my family loved camping at the Dam on Jacqui's land. The scenery is beautiful and we even had the camels and cows that walk about the property come and visit our campsite. It is very private, we couldn't even hear the next group of campers on the property. It's a great location with Oberon town nearby and plenty of natural sights to visit. Jacqui was such a lovely host, we will definitely be back again!

Jacqui and Andrew were absolutely outstanding hosts and the farm is a 10/10 for a family camping trip. Beautiful views, plenty of firewood provided, lots of Aussie native critters and an awesome array of farm animals which the kids loved to interact with. Highly recommend Kenzell Farm for all ages and will 100% be back with the family!

Beautiful fields and views at the camp site. We arrived with rain and in the dark, the signs were easy to see and writen directions were easy to follow. Owner was very friendly and responsive to messages. Highly recommended this place.

Great location and a reasonable price. Peaceful surrounds and a clean and tidy site. Site was advertised as having firewood supplied next to the fire pit but none was supplied and we had to go find our own from around the property, not a major drama, but dont offer it if you are not going to supply it. Also, the access gate needs a tree or two taken out to allow for easier access for long vehicles. I had a RAM 1500 towing a 22ft caravan and struggled to make the turn angle without damaging the top of the van due to trees being in the way.

We loved our stay at the shearing shed. It’s was a great location for our family. My 2 year old loved exploring the area and seeing all the farm animals this place has to offer. It’s quiet and close enough to Oberon and Jenolan Caves. Unfortunately, Janolan Caves were closed due to the recent floods but this didn’t affect our stay. We will be back.

Great location for off-grid camping

Loved staying here (10m off-road caravan) with our family (2A 3C) for 5 nights. Would stay again if in the area. Easy 20 min drive to Oberon (food, water & dump points all here), & opposite Kanangra-Boyd NP (great bush walks). Even though it’s located on the main road into Jenolan Caves, we heard no traffic at all. Lovely hosts when we saw them. They didn’t intrude on our stay at all, but were only ever a message away if needed. Plenty of animals to pat (donkeys, goats) and watch from our site (cows, sheep, camels). Green pasture to camp on. Lovely location on hill (great for views & solar power - perfect for winter camping; I think Site 1 is better good for summer as direct access to small dam/river & more shaded). Camp fires permitted (wood/sticks on property to collect). Fire pits provided for use. Generous space around camp site. Loved having space for the kids to spread out a bit. The cows & camels were frequently around our caravan (amazing!!) - if our children were young, I’d be mindful of not letting them roam without an adult close by. Can walk around the property- great views on top of the hill opposite our camp site.
