Noonameena is a 100 acre natural bushland property located approx 7kms outside of Berrima, NSW in the Southern Highlands. While most of the property is covered by a variety of natural bushland, a small flat area of cleared land is perfect for recreational campers. The property has access to the Wingecarribee River to the south, a natural pool and large dam in the camping area. Other property features include commercial gardens, orchards and free range chicken coop as well as a homestead with surrounding gardens. There are also plenty of walking tracks on the property.

Take your LILO’s and canoes over to Conjurong point and float up and down this glorious river. Put down your devices, pick up a book and get ready to step back in time and be seduced by Magic Manyana. You will have a power pole at the front of the block to run an extension cord into your site. I have provided bins and garbage bags but please take your rubbish with you. Quiet Furry friends are welcome - it’s fully fenced - we just have to keep neighbours happy with low noise - Dogs and Humans! No parties please. Feel free to set up your gas cooker/ barbecue. There is a Sink to make washing up easy. A caravan will fit through the front gates if coming in square. One or two families welcome!

I can offer friendly advice for activities around the area, or you're welcome to go out exploring yourself. The Shoalhaven River is a short 25 minute drive from the property, 25 minutes to Goulburn CBD for all your supply needs, and Canberra is 1 hour away. Enjoy the evenings warming your toes around the campfire as you gaze at the night sky. The area is peppered with many other quaint villages. Excellent overnight stop from the coast and the wine country. Please note that firewood is not available and there are no fires permitted October till April. Pets welcome.

Ron's hobby sheep farm is quite large, the camping area was nice and flat, well grassed with easy access, and a westward border of pine trees that provided some shelter from strong westerly winds we experienced over our stay. There is 10A power available and even an EV type 2 charger. A single toilet out house is fed from a rainwater tank with a potable water tap off the rainwater tank. A Genorous size fire ring is present for low fire danger periods. There are multiple dams and some goldfish ponds with recycled solar powered water features. Plenty of open paddocks with sheep and access tracks to walk around the property. With a low number of other guests we had an undisturbed quiet relaxing family weekend.

We loved our stay at Horses for healing at Sussex Inlet and would highly recommend this spot for anyone who is looking to stay at quiet and secluded spot. The property was easy to find and host met us at arrival. Campground is located near the paddock with alpacas and a donkey (host told that we could pet them, but they were shy and kept their distance, so we decided not to disturb them). We saw many kangaroos during our stay as well. Overall nice spot and would try to come again during warmer months.

Absolutely legendary hospitality from Ron! We were freezing in our tent, our little one was not feeling well, and we were seriously considering heading back home early. But then came Ron, genuinely one of the kindest and most generous people we’ve ever met. He went above and beyond and offered us a warm, safe place to spend the night. His friendliness, care, and down-to-earth nature truly turned our experience around. We can’t thank him enough. Quiet, clean and peaceful surroundings. Stayed 3 nights and had the whole place to ourselves. Camped beside the dam and although not far from the road it was still very private as hardly any cars passed by, no more than 3 a day max. Not too many flat sites close to the dam but we managed to level out our camper trailer. Clean flushing toilet was a bonus. Highly recommended.

Easy access, all level had 22ft caravan in there with Plenty of space. Slight road noise from Hume hwy. you can find firewood in nearby bushes, chickens for kids to see. A little pricey but would stay again.

Very peaceful. Yes you can hear the highway traffic all hours but it’s not significant enough to worry you. Lovely hosts. The only negative is the lack of signage. I think the sites should be numbered or named and allocated. The pathways through the bush to the river should also be sign posted, not easy to navigate, i can see visitors getting lost . Would I come back? Definitely

What a great spot to take it easy, Dana was the best with a great welcome. What a wonderful place to camp. Walk to the River it does takes a little effort to get down there but worth it, and not far from Berrima to walk around the town and have lunch at the pub. Lots of fire wood you just have to look for it. Thanks again, we stayed 9 nights lots of star to see while sitting around a fire. We will be back as not for from Sydney.

5 nights at Sussex Horses For Healing

We loved Lisa’s farm. It’s a lovely big flat area with great fire pit and small covered shed that you can use. There is a porta a loo on site. It is peaceful with birds wallabies and horses around, walks into the bush and a short drive into Sussex inlet, lakes and Cudmirrah. We explored the area and found lots of beaches good surf and coffee too! Would definitely return. Lisa and her husband were very helpful and kind.
