Bound on two sides by the craggy escarpments of the Budgong and Morton National Parks there is ample grassland to give a feeling of space yet an abundance of trees to wander through as you engage with the tame wildlife and magnificent birdlife.
Bring your mountain bike, fishing rod, swimmers, hiking boots, tennis racket, basketball (a hoop on the tennis court) or climbing gear and leave the kids in the play area while you sit by the creek and listen to the water tumbling through the rocks.
If you are as intrigued by rare animals as we are, then this is the place for you. 63 Bird species, 24 mammals, 16 reptiles, and 12 amphibians have been sighted in the area (Clarke 2012) and this includes many rare and endangered species including the platypus, brush-tailed rock wallaby, Giant burrowing frog, Gang-gang cockatoo, Glossy black-cockatoo, Koala, Little Lorikeet and the Yellow-bellied glider.
We only have three campsites at present, so you will be guaranteed peace, space and privacy. with a minimum of 400m between all sites. Please note, that your group must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, however fresh drinking water is available.
Access is into a valley on a well maintained unsealed road but there are some minor causeways making it unsuitable for busses or long low slung vans. An ordinary sedan will do for Billabong and Dad's camp sites but you will need some power for towing and a 4x4 to tow out in any rain. Riverbend site is only suitable for 4x4's and off-road camp trailers.

Nestled right up against the escarpment at an elevation of 450m, this high-end, off-grid 40 acre property effectively offers your own private slice of Macquarie Pass National Park - amazing views, giant cedar trees, fern forests, cascading waterfalls and palms surround.
It feels remote but it's only 90 min from Sydney, 30 min to Kiama and just 15 min to the shops. The property also offers the only hiking path up to the top of the escarpment for some truly amazing views.
As of September 2025, many of the trails on the property have been degraded by the rains and are now challenging for 2WD cars. If you're towing or it's wet we recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles.
Since this is coastal rainforest and it has been very wet, expect leeches anywhere it is damp. These are easily kept at bay with deet and or trousers tucked into socks.
We're not particularly price sensitive - until all those rate rises - but we are extremely value sensitive so we set out to make your stay extremely good value for your hard earned money. The land itself does most of the heavy lifting but also personal service and of course there's Lana to fall in love with.
Note, Mellows Rd is 2.6km long and rises 400m - in parts the road is a 15 degree grade. It's all paved but narrow so if you are towing a large heavy load, it's going to strain your car.

Kids stay free and are not included in the site capacity.
Sites are easy access with a clear track. All sites are dispersed so you can choose where you stay.
We live on property and are happy to share and let people enjoy our beautiful location.
The morning birdsong and evening are restorative. The sunrises and sunsets amazing.
Far enough away to unwind and relax, close enough to get a caffeine fix if needed!
Coming into summer camp fires are subject to weather conditions and fire warnings.
Campers must be self-contained. Off grid campers, 4wd vehicles with pop ups or tents on ground and RVs can be accommodated. We have a leave only footprints philosophy. All rubbish and waste (human, animal & general) must be taken off property.
Extremely well behaved dogs are welcome. Our birds are free range so dogs need to be feathered friend friendly.

If the birds and the bees are your thing then you are also in for a rare treat. We have eastern greys, rabbits, the odd fox and a host of birdlife (eyes open for the resident wedgetail pair, pelicans, black swans etc.), but whatever you seek from your break, we look forward to hosting you.

We are located 8 kilometres off the Princes Highway and we DO recommend 4wd as there is 5 kilometres of rough dirt road with 3 creek crossings that can be flooded in heavy rains.
Dogs are accepted but Must be kept on a leash as we have an abundance of wildlife, wallabies, kangaroos, wombats and birds, as well as our own dogs, horses, pigs, goats and a cat.

We only have three campsites at present, so you will be guaranteed peace, space and privacy. with a minimum of 400m between all sites. Please note, that your group must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, however fresh drinking water is available.
Access is into a valley on a well maintained unsealed road but there are some minor causeways making it unsuitable for busses or long low slung vans. An ordinary sedan will do for Billabong and Dad's camp sites but you will need some power for towing and a 4x4 to tow out in any rain. Riverbend site is only suitable for 4x4's and off-road camp trailers.

Nestled right up against the escarpment at an elevation of 450m, this high-end, off-grid 40 acre property effectively offers your own private slice of Macquarie Pass National Park - amazing views, giant cedar trees, fern forests, cascading waterfalls and palms surround.
It feels remote but it's only 90 min from Sydney, 30 min to Kiama and just 15 min to the shops. The property also offers the only hiking path up to the top of the escarpment for some truly amazing views.
As of September 2025, many of the trails on the property have been degraded by the rains and are now challenging for 2WD cars. If you're towing or it's wet we recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles.
Since this is coastal rainforest and it has been very wet, expect leeches anywhere it is damp. These are easily kept at bay with deet and or trousers tucked into socks.
We're not particularly price sensitive - until all those rate rises - but we are extremely value sensitive so we set out to make your stay extremely good value for your hard earned money. The land itself does most of the heavy lifting but also personal service and of course there's Lana to fall in love with.
Note, Mellows Rd is 2.6km long and rises 400m - in parts the road is a 15 degree grade. It's all paved but narrow so if you are towing a large heavy load, it's going to strain your car.

Our lovely piece of paradise nestled between the hills in Yerriyong State Forest is waiting for you to come and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature! Surrounded by beautiful flowing creeks, lookouts, caves, rainforests, billabongs, mountains just a short drive/ride away. Explore the surrounding state forest in 4x4, on motorbike or horseback, push bike or hiking. Even catch your own freshwater crayfish ! Some of the best beaches in Jervis Bay and Sussex Inlet only 20 minutes drive away. You won’t be disappointed.
We have tent sits and caravan sites available. Please advise upon booking, which site you require.
We have a lovely flowing creek through our property, your choice of camp sites, fire pit, firewood. Grassy sunny areas and shady grassed areas. Self guided walks throughout the property to explore the creek, mountain and mini rainforest.
You must be self sufficient as there are no toilets or showers available and please take all rubbish with you.
We are located 8 kilometres off the Princes Highway and we DO recommend 4wd as there is 5 kilometres of rough dirt road with 3 creek crossings that can be flooded in heavy rains.
Dogs are accepted but Must be kept on a leash as we have an abundance of wildlife, wallabies, kangaroos, wombats and birds, as well as our own dogs, horses, pigs, goats and a cat.
Please be aware of wombat holes. As well as snakes.

• One family/primary vehicle setup per site only.
• Permitted: 1 vehicle + 1 caravan/camper trailer/motorhome, OR solo motorhome/campervan.
• 1 extra vehicle (car/small 4WD) OK at added cost—tell us when booking.
• No extra caravans/trailers/motorhomes—book a separate site after checking with Christine.
• Respect wildlife/neighbours/animals 🦉: Quiet hours 9 pm–7 am (crickets & kookaburras rule! 🌙), secure food/rubbish, no feeding/approaching wildlife. Low lights, stay on your own site.
• Pets are welcome but supervised around farm animals & wildlife. 🐕
• Fires allowed in provided firepits (check danger ratings)—gather fallen wood or buy at gate $20! 🔥🪵
• Fresh free-range eggs $7/dozen—text for drop-off! 🥚🚗
We enjoy limited phone reception; 2WD is usually fine, but 4WD may be needed in wet weather. Mind wombat holes, stumps & snakes when exploring.

A peaceful private 16 acre property an easy 5 minutes drive to the beach, lake and river around Sussex Inlet.
Paddocks and 2 dams, kangaroos, horses & alpacas, backing onto bushland, great area for bush walks. Plenty of space for caravans, motor homes or tents. Privacy in the back paddock for those that have their own setup.
Good access for caravans. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place.
DOGS ON REQUEST. PLEASE ASK.
We have horses and you are welcome to interact/feed/brush/pat, just ask me on arrival.
**DO NOT USE OUR BINS, take all of your rubbish with you when you leave, guests will be fined if you put rubbish in our bins, no fireworks and abide by fire ban. Toilet is a Portaloo, no plumbing, watering can or hose used for flushing. Please never use our toilet to dump from you caravan/RV toilet cassette.
Check in 2pm, check out 10am.
No fires on our grass, use fire pit on sandy areas where there is no grass.

Really enjoyed our camping here. We didn’t land till late on the Friday night and Kate give such clear instructions on where we needed to go, she’s was extremely helpful and quick to get back to my messages.
Loved the open field for camping and surrounded by trees. When we came back on the Saturday evening we were greeted by a few kangaroos beside our tents, which was so nice to see in the wild as we don’t see them much coming from the city. The morning haze and sounds of different birds and kates roosters in the morning was lovely to wake up to.
We got to pet and feed the animals which was an added bonus to our trip 😁
Really enjoyed our trip and the only thing that could do with work is the toilet/ bathroom situation. Otherwise couldn’t fault the camp!

This Hipcamp is breathtaking!
I stayed at ‘across the creek’ which was a large paddock which the horses roam through.
The horses are a highlight and very friendly all with a different personality.
There is a dam with 2 kayaks available to use!
The location is great for exploring the Southern Highlands region!
Host is very helpful and responsive! I will definitely be back many times!

The Crossing at Wombat Hollow is an idyllic spot beside the fresh, flowing creek.
We appreciated that there was just a handful of sites on the property, thoughtfully spaced for the feeling of seclusion and ultimate peace and quiet. The site was well-maintained, freshly mown, and provided a great firepit and rustic log seating, as well as a quality picnic table.
Host Vallance was responsive, helpful, and made communication easy.
We had a lovely stay, in the company of kangaroos, wallabies, and abundant birdlife (and it was nice to know that the wombats and platypus were also neighbours, although we didn't see them).
Thank you for sharing this special place. We plan to return in the future.

What a stunning place to pull up, set up a tent or campervan, sit under the sky, the stars, on the soft grass. Admiring and taking in the views of the surrounding mountains, trees, horses, cows and bird life.
I loved this spot, it’s magical. Kerren and Mark are awesome hosts too!

Kerren is a wonderful host and her property is stunning. It was easy to fine and very convenient- close to Berry, Nowra, kangaroo valley, and Gerringong. Also very close to great little wineries. Kerren also offered a pony ride to our three year old son who absolutely loved it. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a great stay at the sunset site. Lovely and remote but still had facilities and close enough to all the local towns. Our boxer boy loved the freedom on the site too. Leanne was great, even when we couldn’t find the site late at night and in the dark! Looking forward to a return.

We loved our 4 day stay at Kerren’s paddock.
We were a group of 7 with 3 caravans and a trooper. With no facilities other than a tap for drink water and fire pits, it was perfect for us. Beautiful outlook to the mountain, with cows and horses in adjoining paddocks. Very quiet and a great alternative to a caravan park. Close to wineries and shops and Berry only a 10 min drive.
Our hosts were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend.
