1 night at 'Elouera Vale' Farm

We had a fantastic stay at Elouera Vale Farm – it’s a brilliant escape whether you’re travelling solo, as a couple, or with the whole family. With 30 acres of the 140-acre property set aside just for campers, there’s an abundance of space to find your own quiet corner to unwind or let the kids roam free, whether on foot or by bike. The clean and well-maintained premium porta loos were a pleasant surprise and make this spot ideal for all types of campers – from the bare essentials through to fully equipped caravans. Don’t be put off by the listing on Hipcamp – access for larger vans and big rigs is no issue at all. One of the highlights for us was the animal feeding tour. Our daughter absolutely loved it and Wayne was fantastic. She’s now dreaming of becoming a camel and donkey farmer! We highly recommend Elouera Vale Farm and can’t wait to return – next time, we’ll be bringing friends along to share the experience.

One of our fav spots so far. Stunning camp grounds. So much to do in the local area and Wayne really made the farm adventure and camel greeting experience special for the kids! Several other families on site too to so felt very safe out bush!

I would definitely recommend this property. You have a Great campsite with animals across not to far away. The bathroom is very clean and smalls good. Definitely coming back here again. Wayne was a great guy as well.

Amazing spot. Such a nice view and we loved being able to have a fire on a cold winters night. Sunrise over the trees was also stunning. Host is very welcoming and their dogs are beautiful. Was a great space. Our dogs loved being there too. Thanks for having us

Was cool seeing camels for the first time and in the evening I spotted some kangaroos. Wayne and their family were lovely hosts and the toilets were the fanciest and cleanest portaloos I have ever seen. I enjoyed my relaxing stay. Thank you

Fantastic camp grounds and awesome host. The farm tour was great with my 5yo. Beautiful surroundings and lots of native wildlife, saw a wombat! Some natural firewood around, plenty of kindling. Went in May and creek had water in it.

My second visit, Windawalla is a great place to camp, Garth is a fantastic host who can’t do enough for you. Saw big Roos, and plenty of Deer. Can’t wait to visit again..

4 nights at 'Elouera Vale' Farm

The White Gums camping area was a perfect piece of rural camping, right in a nicely kept bush setting, but minutes from Cafe’s, shops and other sightseeing must do’s. This was our 1st try at Hipcamping, and I have to say, if we do any more, the next hosts have their work cut out for them to better the reception and the service provided by Wayne. Meeting the camels and touring the family property was a highlight and the memories of this place will be something we will look back on fondly. Thank you Wayne

What an amazing spot to spend the night, the views during the day and the sky at night are breathtaking. Had a great time with my fiancée, highly recommended !

Weekend Trip to Buxton Getaway

We loved staying at Secret getaway Buxton. Camping right by the dam at Campsite 2. Plenty of space for our group. The kayaks were a great addition and the toilet were cleanest we’ve ever seen for a campsite. Thanks to Luvina and Victor who were so lovely and friendly.

We loved staying at Wayne's. There's an abundance of wildlife and not so wild life. It's quiet and peaceful in the gums and the toilets are clean and smells great!

Weekend Trip to Joadja Gorge Retreat & Camping

We loved our stay here! We were luckily able to camp on the Gorge site which is so unique and quite large. The river was up so the energy after big rain was awsome. The song of the lyrebirds was a bonus we saw plenty of wildlife. Leanne was a great and very accommodating host and a lovely lady. We will be back. Ask plenty of questions like most diligent hipcamp users and I'm sure you find a spot that suits.

Weekend Trip to Hidden Brook Southern Highlands NSW

We came down to Hidden Brook the weekend after the great wet in May and it was just too waterlogged (like the rest of NSW). Lisa, the host, who had been fabulous in checking the site for us and in constant communication generously offered to credit our stay, so we are looking forward to going back at a later date.

2 nights at Windawalla

We stayed for 2 nights at Windawalla. Garth, his 2 dogs and pet sheep welcomed us and showed us to our spot. Lovely view over the valley and sheltered as well. Garth brought in some firewood for the firepit on site. Our dog loved having the freedom to run around as well. We had a great stay and would definitely come back.
