Oakleigh Farm Stay is situated in the beautiful Southern Highlands. Getting here is an adventure in itself! As you drive down a winding track through native bushland, it opens up into a hidden escape cocooned by nature. We have a variety of wildlife including wallabies, lyrebirds, kangaroo, deer, wombats, and echidna to name a few. Our little farm includes chicken, rabbit, sheep, an alpaca a horse and our dog. You can be introduced to the animals at feeding time. If you enjoy a challenge you can take hike down to our creek which is always changing with the weather. We are closely located to Exeter General Store, Dawning Day Winery and Farm Club if you're after a bite to eat. We are a 15 minute drive to the picturesque towns of Bundanoon and Moss Vale. Please be mindful to leave no trace at Oakleigh Farm Stay. Please note: there is no cellular service in the area. High clearance vehicle is necessary to access property.

Our Luxe Bell Tent is a spacious 3m x 6m canvas tent. Have a go at hot tenting this season at Oakleigh farm. Our tent comes furnished with a double bed ready made with fresh linen, extra blankets. rugs, chairs, a dresser complete with your essential kitchen items a camp oven inside to keep you cozy through the colder months. A fire pit outside to enjoy an evening under the stars. With all the hard work done for you, you can relax and enjoy.

Our family had the best time at Lauren’s property. It was absolutely beautiful and there was plenty of wildlife to look out for as well as farm animals for the kids to see. The site was level and tidy with plenty of space to set up our camp. The toilet was amongst the better ones we’ve used, the kids didn’t even complain once about it which is high praise in itself. Lauren was super friendly and accomodating showing the kids around their farm but not at all interfering. We loved everything about our stay especially with it being so close to our home in Sydney. Definitely an easy weekend trip and we hope to be back.

The grass site at Oakleigh was a lovely private spot to camp with our little family. The kids were first time campers so having the compost toilet (so clean and neat!) was a nice convenience. The kids also loved meeting the animals in the morning. Would recommend, especially for families with young kids 😊

We had a great stay at Oakleigh Farm. The kids absolutely loved having animals to play with. The location was easy to find, and access was straightforward and doable dry weather with a 2WD. It’s close to Exeter and there’s a fantastic pie shop nearby, which was a bonus. The campsite itself was quiet and peaceful, and the host was genuinely lovely and welcoming. We’d happily stay again.

Lauren’s farm is a beautifully isolated pocket of the highlands. But it’s only 10 minutes drive into Exeter, so really the best of both worlds. And Lauren is a lovely host, who understands the balance between offering help and guests independence

A beautiful peaceful farm get away, hosted by a warm and welcoming family. Loved Luna, the worlds most confident farm cat, and the 'farm store' of home grown veggies and eggs. Would be perfect for family camping, and those new to camping and looking to build confidence.

My daughter and I had a great night stay in the farm! Just over an hour from Sydney, nearby nice local shops, close to great walks, easy directions and a wonderful farm. Thank you for having us over Easter, my daughter's souvenir of a real egg has her brother so jealous! We will just have to come back :)

We had a great time at Oakleigh Farm. The campground isn’t huge, but it offers plenty of privacy. The morning farm tour was a blast for the kids. Thank you, Lauren and your family, for being such wonderful hosts!

Loved our stay! Easy to get to with lots of fun things to do nearby (eg Bowral, waterfall, swimming holes, glow worms). Lauren and her kids were great hosts, my son loved feeding the animals and roaming the farm with Lauren’s kids. Hope to be back!

Loved the property was so quiet an had no service so was nice to switch of from everything. Lauren is a great host who gave us a friendly welcome. And if you wanted to go for a drive its 10 mins to Exeter Village for some breakfast at the cafe or into Moss Vale. 10 10 stay will recommend an would love to go back

There was lots of room to set up and my kids were able to feed the farm animals in the morning! There were walks you could go on which one of them led to a creek. It was a very easy process to setting up and leaving and there also was a fire pit already there when we arrived. My whole family enjoyed it and we can’t wait to come back again! Directions and comms with Lauren was very good.

We had an amazing two-night stay at Oakleigh Farm! Our host, Lauren, was absolutely wonderful—warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. She even took us along during feeding time so we could meet and help feed the animals, which was such a highlight. The property itself is beautifully quiet and peaceful, the perfect place to unwind and soak up nature. I’d recommend Oakleigh Farm to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway—you won’t be disappointed!
