We offer 2 powered sites with water hookup and 2 unpowered drive through sites without water connection; our brand new magnificently appointed camp kitchen and bathroom ammenities are available to all who stay. We are caravan, campervan and motorhome friendly but do not offer swag only or tent sites. Campfires can be enjoyed through the cooler months and when permitted by the Rural Fire Service Unfortunately our 3 metre cliff face river frontage prevents access to the river for activities such as boating or kayaking; nor do we offer farm style adventures. "The Riverbank" as a destination for a relaxing time to unwind or a base from which to explore the beautiful Hastings area. The Abundance Nursery and Cafe with it's splendid lily pond view is a great spot to enjoy a meal or a coffee and only 3 kms back along Rawdon Island road. The pretty country town of Wauchope is only a 12 minute drive and is home to Timbertown, a theme park boasting steam train rides and a glimpse of the timber getting industry of a bygone era. Drop into the Vibe Coffee House, pick up "the best" coffee and a sensational meal before perusing the many treasures of Wauchope's specialty shops. A day trip to the Comboyne plateu is a rewarding experience and enhanced by enjoying a meal at the magnificant Byabarra Cafe on your way through. Whilst the meals equall those of any capital city restaurant, the view of the valley will take your breath away. And then; there's Port Macquarie (20 mins) and sorrounds! one of the most scenic and attraction packed areas of Australia's eastern seaboard. We were really happy with this spot. Paul was very accommodating as we were arriving late he still managed to help us to our spot and connect us with water. The plot is dog friendly so my highlight was definately the next day when we were really able to see the plot we were on and let our dog roam freely and safely. Would recommend!

We had an amazing time camping at Myall Shores Holiday Park. The setting was stunning with beautiful lake views and lots of wildlife around. The facilities were clean and you could get anything you needed from the kiosk and cafe. The lovely ladies at reception were friendly and welcoming. We really appreciated the goodie bag and activities for the kids, who had the best time. We will definitely be back.

This campsite by the river was beautiful, we wished we could have stayed longer. The host, Matt, was responsive and we had clear instructions and communication leading up to check in. Amenities were also great, there was a well-equipped kitchen with BBQ and clean, spacious shower and toilets with everything we needed. Would definitely love to return!

The location is pretty fantastic to get your dose of "tech-disconnect". The campgrounds are clean, so are the facilities. You can see kangaroos, snakes, variety of birds and other wildlife. The night sky is very clear due to minimal light pollution if you're into that.

Beautiful setting! Lake on one side and beach on the other! The Campgrounds are set on each side of the road north to Forster but this does not detract from a charming and unique spot. The onsite cafe is just beautiful and the site is really well kept overall. We'll be back!

What a fantastic spot! This is an incredibly well maintained and gorgeous spot to spend a few days. The amenities are brand new and really well considered - the bathroom was even nicer than ours at home! It honestly felt like staying at an air bnb minus the bedroom. Matt was a great had and checked in and then left us to enjoy our time. A lovely spot on the river to relax and unwind. We will definitely be recommending to others passing through the area!
