Scott and his family are absolutely amazing, that along side with the most beautiful property it was the perfect stay! I can’t recommend enough, and can’t wait to visit many more times! I don’t want to leave. We felt so welcome and I loved hearing about all of the history around the property. My favourite thing was arriving at animal feeding time and getting to experience feeding and meeting of the beautiful animals. A dream come true. Could not recommend enough. Thank you so much ☺️

OMG… We did not want to leave, the serenity, the beautiful surrounds and too top it off Paul’s Dad, Sam is a champ. Don’t miss this place if you’re near by. I am actually a little jealous of the owners. It’s magical. We love the camp kitchen and bathroom, so unique. Not fancy, just homely and fabulous. This was my second stay at Bril Bril Creek Site, and it was just as relaxing as I remembered. The setting is beautifully quiet, with nothing but the gentle sound of the creek, the occasional moo of nearby cattle, and the breeze rustling through the trees. Watching the fog roll in at sundown was a real highlight. A perfect spot to slow down and soak up nature.

We had a lovely stay at Scott's place, the tent site was unfortunately flooded but that didn't stop Scott from providing us a lovely patch to set up in, a fire pit, offered wood and a tour of the farm! Him and his son were welcoming and generous and the spot was delightful with cute animals to pat and stunning stars to awe over (you can see the milky way!). Hope to stay again.

Guests to be self-sufficient with their own water, power, shower/toilet facilities, cooking facilities. Bathroom facilities on request. Camp Kitchen is a communal area for all guests, leave clean and tidy. Leave No Trace – please take all rubbish/items and dispose correctly. Dogs on request, friendly and well behaved, restrained on arrival as we have free range chooks. Pick up dog poo and take it with you. National Parks are nearby, you should familiarise yourself with their domestic pet rules; locations, all available on the NSWNP website. Fires – on arrangement, you are welcome to bring your own firepit and firewood or OKA can supply. Before setting up, we will organise pavers and sand to ensure our grass is protected. We do have firewood available to purchase, 20kg @ $20.00. Firewood/Kindling collection is not permitted without our consent. Permission to use generators & chainsaws must be sought. If granted, generators to be super quiet and off between 9pm and 7am. Our 10pm noise curfew is for the enjoyment of all guests. We are located 3 hours north of Sydney and 5 hours south of the QLD Border making it a convenient stop over for your travels, or a nice place to stop and explore the local areas being close to beaches and the Barrington Tops. The property has spectacular views that you won't find anywhere else. We are in a quiet rural area where the neighbours can't be seen. There are walking tracks for you to explore the natural environment. There are many kangaroos, wallabies and numerous amount of birds in the area. The property backs onto national park. There is a river that is only a few kms behind the property that you can put a small boat in to take you out to Saltwater Beach. Old bar beach is a 12 minute drive, Forster-Tuncurry is 15 minutes and the beaches of Pacific Palms a 45 minute drive. There are file piles near the bush sites that you can help yourself too. Heartwood Farm is a centrally located 120 acres on the Mid-North Coast - about halfway between Sydney and Brisbane, only 1.5 kms off Pacific Highway, 25 mins to Port Macquarie, 15 Mins to Kempsey, 30 minutes to Crescent Head and 45 mins to South West Rocks. We are off grid and live close to nature and enjoy the abundance that provides. We have been building and developing for the last few years. We are still a work in progress. There are three Brumbies that live over the fence and 5 other horses that will no doubt come and say hello. They are all friendly, especially if you have a carrot. There are also a lot of kangaroos and wallabies, some quite friendly as they have been raised by our neighbour who does animal rescue. There are also a lot of different species of birds, including the much-loved Black Cockatoos which are in abundance here. We have also seen turtles, frilled neck lizards, diamond pythons, red belly black snakes (rarely) and goannas.
