This is a 45 acre farm located approx 50 km north of Coffs Harbour and 30km south of Grafton and is just 500 meters from the Pacific Highway at Halfway Creek. The property is easily accessed by 2WD and is suitable for caravans and small to medium motor homes. Take a right turn as soon as you drive through the cream concrete entrance gates and follow the road down to the large cream shed. Here you will find manicured park-like gardens with a large dam - big enough to kayak on! There are numerous shady trees along the dam edges and you can also relax on the pontoon which overlooks the water. **Please note that the dam area is not fenced and may not suit campers with children. Campers must ensure they supervise their children at all times. This farm operates a cut flower business with over 10,000 rose bushes and has recently diversified with a large number of Australian wildflowers. From vertiginous sandstone cliffs on which epipetrics cling tight, right through to palm-filled rainforests, and with two quite different creek systems (including a monster waterfall), you'll be spoiled for things to do and places to explore - without even leaving the property! HISTORY This land is Gumbaynggirr land. Please be particularly mindful of our First Nation's long presence on this land. In the 1800's, white men came seeking Red Cedar, closely followed by settlers having a go at dairying; though logging has remained this area's mainstay. This special property, despite last being selectively logged about 50 years ago, hosts many huge old-growth trees remaining steadfast for your discovery and wonder. And many more are continuing to grow out too. About 35 years ago about nine of this property's eastern-most 104 acres became part of a far larger nashi pear orchard which filled much of the flats of this top end of the valley that you see today. Ultimately they failed to set good commercial fruit, and the rootstocks took over. You can see remnant rows of these trees just south of the property, from along the road. (Beware though - they have spikes that could puncture Caterpillar tracks!) MORE RECENTLY extensive lantana control efforts have been undertaken as we now move into revegetating with native species and implementing a permaculture plan. The site is approximately 14 metres clear/elevated from the river (which makes it very safe if the river was to rise above minor or moderate flooding). A truly unique camping experience overlooking the wide spanse of the Clarence only a short distance from the small village of Copmanhurst, perfect for a group booking of up to 20. Enjoy your own private site with a sandy beach @40m below site, east of the Copmanhurst boat ramp. Take a walk down the steepish soft sandy cattle tracks to the waters edge and enjoy yourself. Note: Sand can be very hot! Obedient dogs permitted and that they are on a lead or under control with livestock or cattle dogs around. Lovely flat sites (only 4 available) and plenty of space between. Right on the Clarence River (tidal). There were friendly cows (love eating bread), kangaroos, & pelicans. Lovely and quiet. Short 15 minutes easy drive into town.

Great place to stay if passing through as it’s close to the highway and a large service center with Easy access to large fairly flat sites and positioned next to a lake, fire pits are provided and firewood can be purchased. Directions are clear and accurate we would definitely stay again.

Easily accessible off the highway perfect for overnight stays with large reasonably flat expanses of mown grass, a nice lake to camp near with well presented firepits and wood supplied for a fee. Some road noise from the highway and the servo nearby but certainly not disturbing, Matt’s instructions and information are clear and well organised and he’s prompt to reply to any questions. Highly recommend.

The blueberry farm was a lovely stop over on our trip South! Kids went nuts picking delish blueberries and the site was quiet and secluded. Bit of a tight turn getting into site 2 and we only have a 16ft van but a beautiful stay all the same!

3 nights at The Blue Lagoon

We finally returned to "Heaven on Earth" this weekend just gone and once again it did not disappoint! The Blue Lagoon is simply "Magical" and it was a great place to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary in style. Having the place to ourselves and indulging in a beautiful night-time hot bath in the new stone tub overlooking the magical lagoon is something to remember. Laura & Dougie are fabulous hosts and also very accommodating. We can't thank them enough for sharing this wonderful piece of heaven with us once again. Can't wait for our next trip back to The Blue Lagoon!!
