A beautiful, peaceful and almost undisturbed property. It was very relaxing and private, plus lots of bush to explore. Even quiet for a Easter long weekend. We had a 14.5ft offroad caravan which would be the max size I would attempt to access the site. Parts can be soft and sandy so have all the 4WD gear. Love to stay again.

We had a lovely camping weekend at Brian and Sally's Wollombi Private Earthways camp. Our site was called "Private Tree Valley" which was very private and quiet, and space was huge even our dog enjoyed her fist no fence, off-leash run! We did not see other souls at our site even though it was Easter long weekend. They kept the camp site nice and tidy, and providing a simple but clean bush toilet and water tank for washing up. We found ample shade and firewood, plus a pile already prepared for us on arrival. Brian and Sally were very responsive which made our communication very easy and seamless experience. We highly recommend this hidden oasis.

Sally and Brian are great hosts and their property was perfect for a large group of friends. We stayed over Easter long weekend and were completely undisturbed. The camp shower and toilet were great additions. Sally was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived and communicated well. Will hopefully be back again.

Loved this site and spent two nights here. We had the place almost to ourselves and loved that Allan kept everything so neat and tidy. Great hot shower, clean portaloo and plenty of free firewood. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful spot with great hot water shower and clean porta loos. Allan came to meet us right away and we enjoyed the site virtually to ourselves for two nights. There was plenty of firewood on site but aLeo a covered bbq aRea annd room for a big group. Only 20 min to the Wine Route and 5 min from the nearest IGA or the new big Coles at Braxton. Would come again. Thanks Allan for the effort put into maintaining a lovely spot.

The pup 'Bear' and I had a great stay! Beautiful part of the world, and the perfect place to escape. After meeting Sally, who showed us to our site, we didn't see another soul. The property is gorgeous, and we had a great time exploring. We will definitely be back. Thanks Brian and Sally!

Weekend Trip to The Nile Off Grid family farm

I recently spent the weekend here, it was so chill and surrounded by pure beauty! The facilities are great and we enjoyed the bench/ BBQ area, the views are stunning and hearing the cows and nature add to the wilderness vibes. We camped near the watering hole, it was our own slice of heaven! It had privacy, views, flat ground for tents, fire pit and a cute stream/waterhole. We will return for sure, recommend to others. The drive from the main town/village was like being in the Grand Canyon with the tablelands and views. Also, they have a tiny house and spa which looked amazing (the spa is open to all until 7pm). Thanks Jacob, great host and beautiful place.

What a fantastic place! I almost don't want to write a review so that other people don't know about this hidden gem! Matt is lovely, the sites are big and well kept, short walk to the water for a dip, showers and toilets are great... what more can I say... we will be returning soon!

Lovely campsite with so much space and individual campfires. Bathrooms and showers were hot and very clean each day. We bought fire wood from the hosts which was handy but we would suggest having the logs cut a little smaller in future. Only for we had our own hatchet we would have struggled to get the fire going as we needed to chop smaller pieces before using the logs we bought. Lovely cafe and bar in the local village. We would definitely choose this campsite again. .

Have a Fenced off Kids Playground. Buggys (allowed any weekend at an extra fee). Quads and dirt bikes also allowed PLEASE NOTE; They are an extra fee and only allowed on specific weekends. Buggy Tours and kids quad rides are available (extra costs). We would like to advise that entry to our beautiful property is a dirt road and does have mounds. The road has just been upgraded and although has dirt mounds is quite easy. We suggest to drive over them on an angle and take your time. We have lots of people come in with trailers and campers and have not had a problem. But do not recommend it if you have a lowered car. Any concerns, please contact us.

Sally and Brian invite you to enjoy camping on their beautiful property. Surrounded by Yengo National Park and Crown land, Earthways is 134 ha (330 acre) property near Wollombi in a secluded part of the Wollombi Valley. Come and enjoy the noises of the bush and the clear night skies with no human neighbors close. No mobile reception. (Phone and wifi for emergencies at our house.) We (Brian and Sally) have been re-vegetating the land and living here sustainably being “Off Grid” for over 45years, surrounded by bush with 3km of Stockyard creek meandering through the valley. Creek is not flowing at the moment. We would love to share this paradise with those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Children under 5yrs are free. Dogs welcome but kept on a lead during the evening. No leeches and No ticks in this area. NO close neighbors. Perfect spot to pitch your tent or set up your camper in the valley. Lots of sunshine and lots of shade. Easy dirt road access (5km) Some sites require/recommend 4WD -some 2WD is fine. Check each site separately. Wombat, Rocky, Lyrebird and Goanna sites have bush toilets, shower bag and washing water onsite. Wombat, Rocky, Goanna, Possum, Tree, Bellbird sites are all 2 WD. Come and take advantage of the Wollombi Valley's beautiful scenery and atmosphere. Sit and relax or get adventurous and explore the area. The historic village of Wollombi is only 25 minutes away, and has cafes, shop, museum and the Wollombi Tavern. The popular Broke and Pokolbin wine regions are a short 25-40 minute drive away in the opposite direction. Yengo National Park has some wonderful look out spots-great to drive to Finchley lookout to watch the sun set or check out Aboriginal art sites. No guarantee but...You may see wombats, kangaroos, echidnas, goanna's, kookaburras, bower birds, lyre birds,superb blue wren, gang gangs, black cockatoos and so many other native birds/creatures. Stunning rock features, caves, diverse ecosystems with abundant native fauna and flora. We are situated in a valley. Each of our separate camp sites are your own private space.

We looked for alternative ways of living 6 years ago so we purchased 220 acres to build an off grid camping/eco resort. The property consists of a straw bale house, Tipis, Cottages, 5 stars shared facilities (hot showers, flushing toilets - disable toilet ), outdoor kitchen (gas bbq, pizza oven, all kitchen utensils, pots ), solar system and worm farm septic system. The facilities of the camping are quite luxurious some guests labelling them "better than at home" so you can enjoy the bush experience & still have the comfort of a home. Here you can discover amazing wildlife such as kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, cockatoos, lyre birds and a lot of other birds (designated bird drinking stations through a WIRES program which has a lot of success.) Bring a camera and take in the incredible sights such as wildlife, cliffs, caves, and a magical view of Mount Yengo and Moruben from the top of the property. They are designated walking tracks around the property with all variable lengths & difficulties.
