Waterhole Camp
Beautiful location , nice and peaceful. Lots of wildlife especially around dusk and early night. Would highly recommend and couple of nights to explore the upper reaches of upper Rouchel.

Peaceful campground - I had it all to my self. Great little creek to wash off in and lots of bird life. Such a nice valley will definitely camp here again.

We did enjoy our weekend away ,though the cattleyard site grass was overgrown,and the sign could have been position closer to the road to be more visable.But we enjoyed seeing the horses, and the friendly cat that came each night to visit us.

Riverside Camp
Nice campsite in a nice area. Just check which way google maps takes you on the way there we done close to 40ks of dirt track with very steep sections while towing. On the way back only short well maintained gravel road which was easy.

Waterhole Camp
Great spot just off the road and flat area close to the flowing creek. Saw the platypus and caught a few carp. Peaceful and quiet location, just the very odd passing car. Really enjoyed the stay and would recommend.

Riverside Camp
The drive in from Aberdeen is beautiful with the rolling green hills of the countryside. Anna and Al’s property is cracking! Anna met me with a great smile and offered me a different site without any cows! I camped right by the river with great views of the hills and perfect to watch the sun go down. Al bought me over some firewood which was awesome being a cold night.
Great place to relax and unwind.

Beautiful spot. Clean and pristine. The river was high and flowing. Easy to get to and a really nice drive. Easy to follow directions. Flat spot, would be great for a few vans and a few more nights.

Beautiful, peaceful setting beside the creek, however we feel as though
the hosts could have made more of an effort with regards to preparing the site, leaving firewood as stated there would be and a much better marking of site. A tiny A4 sign pinned to a tree and off from the road doesn't make for easy spotting when towing a caravan.

We had a fantastic time at the Creek Crossing Camp, it is truly beautiful and so peaceful. I highly recommend this property, we will be back.

This camp was recommended to us and we would recommend it to.
Easy access to the flowing river, reasonably private, level and well kept, The dirt road is/was in good condition, the tared road for where the camp is, was very good.
Communication with the owner was minimal, we were lucky we know how to get to the site,

Beautiful country campsite by a glorious babbling brook, perfect for cooling off in and floating down on our rubber tubes. The night sky was spectacular and the location of Cattleyard Camp is now our favourite Hipcamp site.
The owners, Alex & Anna, are lovely and very generous to open up their property to us. We feel the price is also very reasonable and we won’t hesitate to rebook in the future.
We’ve come away completely refreshed and now have a lovely keepsake video of our time there.

I paid for the first night and couldn’t camp because it was flooding so I rang owner and told her that I wouldn’t be able to camp can I change dates to the following night and was charged twice never again $64 for one night 😡😡

Absolutely beautiful creek frontage with wonderful sounds of water over rocks and some wildlife including quite large fish and a couple of possum species and numerous birds.
A little difficult for large vans if it is wet as it was when we arrived but not boggy and firm underfoot.
Quite a level site albeit not a huge area but certainly big enough for most size vans.
Peaceful although on a public road .. there was very little traffic and none at night and it never bothered us at all.

It was lovely and very quiet at night, although close to road. It’s a popular motorbike road. They did not bother us.
As the direction says go straight to the site. It was difficult to see where the site was as the sign on the tree near the river was quite small and the long grass hid the track in.
We enjoyed our couple of days relaxing watching the birds and listening to the river

Great spot.
We had arwlaxing long weekend. Waterhole was deep and great for cooling off.
Relaxing watching the turtles and fish swim around.
We had a local very friendly owl visiting our camp spot.
Would highly recommend.

Creek Crossing Camp
Such a peaceful and amazing place. Camp site was large and river front. It was a hot weekend when we were there and the brook was super refreshing with deep spots and shallow spots to cruise in. Water was super clear too. Alex and Anna were legends too and our kids loved playing with their kids. Alex gave us a bunch of firewood too. Will come back.

Site was ok, nothing special, had to cross the stream for the nicer spot. However the water tanker sucking water from the stream at 6:45am only meters from my tent was rather annoying.

Great spot. Drive in was scenic and although the site is just off the side of the road, it's a no through road giving access to some of the farms in the area so only lightly trafficked by friendly farmers.
The water was silted out but fantastic for swimming and some fishing. Plenty of wildlife to see day and night (watching the turtles pop up for air every few minutes didn't lose its novelty) that weren't afraid to get close when we were quiet enough.

Lovely, quiet spot for a few days.
No phone reception, couldn't contact owner (Anna) on arrival, and no one came to greet us or give instructions about having a camp fire etc.
Take solid shoes, thistles and cats-eyes around.
Lovely babbling brook, had a float around on it, but not suitabe for kayaking (despite owner suggesting it was).
Occasional vehicle using road, but not bothersome.
No mozzies, occasional fly, very relaxing.

We loved staying at this Hipcamp, great camping area, taking a dip in the brook to cool off, and lots of visits from the resident cows and horses. Thanks to Anna and her family. We’ll be back.

We loved Riverside Camp, it was so quiet and private right next to the creek. Saw lots of wildlife. Perfect couple of days. Only thing I would say is it needs better signage - we wasted 20mins looking for the site - look for the little signs on the trees along the bank of the creek
