The Cowra township is 20 minutes drive and worth a visit for all your supplies. REVELSTONE MOUNTAIN offers camping with fantastic views. Plenty of space to go for a scenic hike, find spring fed dams for yabbie fishing or a quick dip in the water hole in Springvale Creek that runs through the property, lots of wildlife including kangaroos, rabbits and foxes. There are 8 designated camping areas to set up your camp. Enjoy an evening by the campfire some firewood available but best to bring some . This campsite is suited for campers who are self-contained, with own camping toilet/shower amenities and water supply. Pets on leashes welcome (we have lots of stock wandering about). This is a fully fenced farm all gates that are closed must be closed after entry plenty of privacy, there are over 6 k of 4 wheel drive tracks with amazing rock formations and features all through the property .Each campsite is your own private space and no neighbours.

We are pet friendly but pets must be controlled at all times and not chase the wildlife. We have a off leash area that is fenced where your fury friends can have play dates and run around. There are 4 large camping sites that must be you must self contained and leave nothing but footprints and great memories. Plenty of room for vans , boats , cars to park at your site . Camp site is a short distance from gate and 2wd can access. There is a communal fire place and wood is supplied but no collection of firewood. Fire only permitted in fire seasons. We also back on to the Dananbilla national park which is 35 square kilometres. A running spring fed creek with yabbies and watercress and small water hole in creek for a dip with small water fall. We back on to 35 square kms of national park called Dananbilla. You can see kangaroos, wallaby, wombat and if lucky akidna , goanna , lace monitor and many varieties of birds. Great cell phone service with optus and telstra but not Vodafone. Can charge your phone ,just bring your lead and power plug. Plenty of firewood for your stay from fallen dead branches. The mountain has the origional trig station for the area on top from early 1800s with beautifull views. Our property proudly boasts the original miner's cottage circa 1860, which is one of the oldest original buildings in the area. No amenities at the campsites currently. Campers must be 100% self contained and bring their own camping toilet and shower. Pets welcome but must be kept under control, leashed, and tethered at all times. Horses considered.
