Overlooking rural paddocks, you can enjoy the tranquillity that a farming landscape has to offer. (1.5hrs from Canberra, 3.5hrs from Sydney). Camping is available next to the creek and dam on the western side. There is no power, no dump point, no phone reception and no internet. (Don't you just love that...😜) Various farming activities occur during the year which you are welcome to join in. The township of Boorowa is 15min drive, offering a range of shops, dining venues, Golf course, swimming pool (in season) and playground. There are also a number of events held throughout the year. Overlooking rural paddocks, and the river, you can enjoy the tranquility that a farming landscape has to offer. Perfect family holiday location. Town center is a 5 min drive or a short walk/ride, so access to town facilities and amenities is very convenient. Please refer to images for the latter. We have a camper's undercover area for you to share and enjoy (lounge, TV, dining tables). Firewood - please bring your own, we do not have firewood or fallen branches from trees. "Wombles Common" has a permanent fire pit area, all other sites require transportable fire pits (provided or bring your own). Please do not leave burn scars on the ground and please take your ashes with you or dump them in the "Wombles Common" fire pit area. River - the river is excellent for fun canoeing adventures. Entering the river is at your own risk. Fishing - great fishing in the river. We love the Red Fin! Pets - pets are welcome but need to be controlled. The safety and comfort of the resident sheep, our neighbours and other campers are a priority. Great campsite. With electrical power. 2 bath rooms in C street with clean water, 2 bath rooms in H street with bore water. This is a big campsite. So I would suggest to have more bath rooms as there are many people. Overall. Great. Love this campsite.

This property was fantastic. We were the only people here and went exploring, each camping site had its own merits. Liberty Views had a wonderful view and the sunset did not disappoint. The grounds were well kept and signposted. Each site had a designated campfire, which we loved. The campsites are well spaced. The property is located central to Wyangala Dam and Cowra, we also ventured out to Canowindra. We’ll definitely be back ! 💗

Revelations mountain camps is a great spot for anyone looking to get away from life in general ! The place is so nice, we camped at the Heavens Gate spot and really enjoyed it. Clean air, nice big spots for privacy and overall just a good experience. We got to meet Graeme himself and he’s such a lovely bloke, very friendly and very passionate. Would 100% recommend, we will definitely be coming back !

Our little family (2 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs) had a great time camping at Graeme’s place. We stayed at “Fox Hollow” up on the mountain and had amazing views of the surrounding countryside and both sunrise and sunsets. Although there was a number of other people staying here, it was incredibly private. We only saw the other campers when they drove past our site or when we drove past theirs. Graeme stopped by to see how we were doing and shared some local knowledge with us too.

I highly recommend James for his hospitality and Cargo Road Wines for a camping experience that is memorable. Spanning over 16 hectares there are so many camping sites to choose from and it's a pleasant view waking up to the sunrise and Vineyards as well to the sound of sheeps. We also opted for the wine tour where James gave us some background story of himself and The Vineyard itself and it definitely has made me appreciate wine more than before. Will definitely camp here once again in the near future. Our Little Jack Russell Puppy also enjoyed running around the Vineyards along with the sheeps and Kelpie

We stayed at Cabernet 1 site at Cargo Road Lane. We absolutely loved our stay and would love to camp there again. Our site had beautiful views and was surrounded by grape vines, with enough space to be away from other campers and for the kids to play. James was very friendly and helpful and the wine from Cargo Road was great too! Looking forward to staying here again and would recommend to anyone wanting a farm stay experience.

Amazing spot in a beautiful part of the country. I didn't have enough time to get around the whole property but the tracks and signage were clear. The drive up the hill to the camp-site was a bit of fun as a beginner 4WD driver. Great firepit and great view. I just had the Ute and a tent but plenty of room for a caravan. Would highly recommend.

I had a beautifully peaceful (and at times rather windy) stay at Liberty Views Base Camp. Graeme was very helpful, and was proactive in communicating with me around location of the camp spot and the layout of Revelstone and what to expect . If you are in a camper trailer, caravan, slide-on etc, you may need a little bit of levelling at Liberty Views. All the camping areas at Revelstone are well signed and easy to find. For the 'mountain' sites, which are spectacular, you definitely need a proper 4WD to access them if walking is not your thing.

Located near Young, this campsite is set on grassy undulating land. This is a working farm. You will need to be a self-contained camper with own camping toilet/shower, drinking water and supplies. There are rubbish facilities available for guests. Enjoy the crisp air and relax by the campfire at night. Known as the Hilltop region, the township of Young and surrounds are full of rolling hills, farmlands and bush. If you visit in spring you'll be able to see fields full of bright yellow canola flowers as far as the eye can see. Bring your camera! In December Young celebrates the National Cherry Festival, where you will find live music, a parade, fireworks and of course lots and lots of freshly picked, plump cherries. The region also has many vineyards and food providores as well as museums and some great historical sites. Our property is located a short distance out of town for all your shopping needs. Pets on leashes welcome.
