We have converted a container into a tiny home overlooking our gardens. Relax and unwind by the outdoor fireplace by night while you enjoy the sunset views over the hills. We are close to shops, restaurants, cafes, beaches, creeks and parks. It is only a short drive to Pottsville town. There is plenty to see and do in the Northern Rivers. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you would like some recommendations.
The container has been converted into a tiny livable space with sustainability and simplicity in mind. Features include a compost toilet, hot shower, air conditioner, toaster, stovetop kettle, fridge, daybed, queen size main bed (towels and linen are an added extra), small deck with an outdoor kitchen and bbq area.
You may like to meet our pet ducks or if visiting a farm is what you’re into we can recommend some great local farm tours within a 20 minute drive from here. Spa treatments, yoga, bushwalking and water activities are all close by. Unfortunately our goats are currently doing weed maintenance on a nearby property and may not be here for your booking.
If you’re looking to experience the rural setting with the convenience of beaches and shops being close by then this is the place for you. This is a unique area in Pottsville and we look forward to hosting.

Your privacy is important to us! The glass doors are tinted and reflective, plus curtains are available for more privacy. The main house is a little over 50m from the tiny home. The rainforest Treehouse is situated in a rainforest pocket of the Mount Warning Caldera, completely surrounded by lush and vibrant nature and sheltered from the outside world, while being just 2 minutes away from us and the comfy road that will take you to an amazing swimming hole, cafés and the nearby town.
Once you enter the Treehouse private drive you will feel yourself being transported into a magical world of gently flowing water, natural light, tall trees, chirping birds, rustling leaves, crickets, and frogs.
You will notice the energy shift into the safe embrace of our land, protected by Springbrook Mountain.
The location of the Treehouse was chosen by our then young children. We all fell in love with the magnificent camphor laurel tree growing at the edge of the seasonal creek.
We all found ourselves drawn to that place, so with the help of our friends and our children we began the project of manifesting a dream into a reality - the dream of living in the tree canopy.
As we worked on the Treehouse, the design was constantly changing. The whole family, especially our youngest son, contributed to the manifestation of the dream. During that time we overcame many obstacles and found solutions to build in the tree. It was an adventure, a lot of fun and we learnt a lot.
It became a dwelling for our kids for a period of time, until they grew up and left to conquer the big wide world.
Now it is here for you to enjoy, to reconnect with your dreams, to dive deep into your childhood playful memories where the world of fantasy and reality merge together.

The vibrant tantric red colour of the cabin will fill you up with new energy and freshness. it is supplied with clean, luxurious linen and towels. The daring bathroom allows you to bask in a bubble bath while enjoying your favourite beverage watching the stars. That beautiful experience will be enhance by the symphony of the surrounding nature.

We have converted a container into a tiny home overlooking our gardens. Relax and unwind by the outdoor fireplace by night while you enjoy the sunset views over the hills. We are close to shops, restaurants, cafes, beaches, creeks and parks. It is only a short drive to Pottsville town. There is plenty to see and do in the Northern Rivers. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you would like some recommendations.
The container has been converted into a tiny livable space with sustainability and simplicity in mind. Features include a compost toilet, hot shower, air conditioner, toaster, stovetop kettle, fridge, daybed, queen size main bed (towels and linen are an added extra), small deck with an outdoor kitchen and bbq area.
You may like to meet our pet ducks or if visiting a farm is what you’re into we can recommend some great local farm tours within a 20 minute drive from here. Spa treatments, yoga, bushwalking and water activities are all close by. Unfortunately our goats are currently doing weed maintenance on a nearby property and may not be here for your booking.
If you’re looking to experience the rural setting with the convenience of beaches and shops being close by then this is the place for you. This is a unique area in Pottsville and we look forward to hosting.

The location of the Treehouse was chosen by our then young children. We all fell in love with the magnificent camphor laurel tree growing at the edge of the seasonal creek.
We all found ourselves drawn to that place, so with the help of our friends and our children we began the project of manifesting a dream into a reality - the dream of living in the tree canopy.
As we worked on the Treehouse, the design was constantly changing. The whole family, especially our youngest son, contributed to the manifestation of the dream. During that time we overcame many obstacles and found solutions to build in the tree. It was an adventure, a lot of fun and we learnt a lot.
It became a dwelling for our kids for a period of time, until they grew up and left to conquer the big wide world.

Clear directions provided to the site; paved roads until the last ~200m or so within the field itself which was a well maintained track (hardcore type surface) - very accessible with 2WD vehicle. Grass pitch was level and well spaced from the other pitches (though I was the only person on the night I stayed).
The toilet is a portaloo but clean and with ample toilet paper supplied, there looked to be another further down by the other site.
Would stay again. Right by the creek so remember bug spray - I forgot, but only got 2 or 3 bites.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rail Trail Retreat, we stayed for 5 nights so that we could explore the Tweed Coast, perfect location for this! Lovely grassy level sites, plenty of room for large setups and easy access to water. Would highly recommend doing the Rail Trail (we hired e bikes at Mooball) beautiful easy ride to Murwillumbah and back.

A nice getaway with the family. There is so much space you’ll not even hear other campers.
We stayed 2 nights which would be max for us with kids. They are 7 and 5 and not much for them to do but that didn’t stop us wandering around and playing cards & board games.
They loved the horses which hang out with you at camp.
If you are looking for a quiet couple of days passing through I would highly recommend

Misty Ridge was great. Nice area and lovely setting. It’s particularly great if you want to ride the rail trail - which goes across their driveway. Even after your ride you can sit at camp watching the rail trailers go by!

Beautiful green grassy spot right behind the cheese farm shed. Fantastic place for the weekend. Close to Burringbar township and rail trail. We even enjoyed a cheese platter which Suzanne personally delivered to our van. Amazing!!!
Would definitely stay again.

This was a great spot to base ourselves for a few days in the Northern Rivers area. We had a great spot facing the paddock with cows around throughout the day. There are toilets for campers to use which is great. It was so close to get on the rail trail to go for a run or bike ride. The cheese platter was amazing!! It was a 2 minute drive to Mooball to the pub to cool off on a 40 degree day and about 15 minutes to Pottsville beach.

Really big site, we had the all to ourselves. Good location in terms of access to towns/beaches/walks.
Was a little hard to find but Michaley responded quickly to help us find it. There were a lot of bugs about and freshly cut grass on the site but wasn’t a huge issue.
