East Creswick Farm is a Tea Tree farm located halfway between Byron Bay and Brunswick Heads, with Mullumbimby just down the road. Very easily accessed, it includes large areas of flat paddock as well as secluded spots up on a hilled area surrounded by native and plantation trees.
We are just getting started and intend to improve the property over time. We hope the price and flexibility reflect the current state of the land, and we are always aiming to improve the amenities as we go.
The property is best described as central, easy, and affordable rather than pristine and tranquil. It is a working farm where you may see tractors from time to time, and while it is "rough around the edges," it is clean and functional. Please note that we border the highway, so depending on where you are on the property, there is some road noise. Except for during Blues Fest, there are no toilets on-site, so you will need to be fully self-sufficient.
During periods of heavy rain, the ground in some areas can become boggy, so we may need to limit space on the flat paddocks and have you stay up on the hill. Generally, the site is 2WD accessible. We aim to be super flexible, so please reach out with any requests; we just ask that you do the right thing regarding taking rubbish and toilet litter with you. Doggos are always welcome because doggos are the best.

National parks for hiking or horse riding within 20mins drive. Can accommodate 2 horses in paddocks ($10per horse per night.) and parking space for horse float should you wish to bring your horses and enjoy some trails or beach riding in the area, I can give more information on places to ride on request.

A beautiful stroll to the nearby river is a wonderful experience as you explore, swim, canoe, Kayak or float down the river (1.2 klm) in the beauty of nature around you. You can even throw a line in and you might catch a fish. There is a lovely covered platform you can sit on as you reflect. If you are quiet enough you might see a platypus or two or catch a fish.

There are walking tracks or bike riding for kids, if you have a horse or pony you can bring them along too. How about a game of outdoors skittles or spot the native plants, pick a citrus fruit or maybe spot a wallaby, echidna, possum or laugh with the kookaburra's.
There is a natural stone campfire where you can sit at night or meet other campers, or just to sit and gaze at the stars. Tales of the past might be spoken if asked. You can hear the night birds and owls. If you are lucky you will see fire fly in the right season.
A great place to relax, spend family quality time together, uninterrupted by technology and you relive the Shalom-peace of nature, making memories that you will keep for a lifetime.
The little quaint villages that surround Federal are great for a visit. If you want the best sushi in the area then stop at the popular Doma Cafe next to the general store in Federal, you will want to visit more than once after your taste buds have been awakened.
Byron bay is a 15-20 min drive on a scenic drive, or visit the biggest little town in Australia Mullumbimby a 15-18 min drive. Bangalow and Lennox heads, Lovely beaches at Brunswick Heads or Ocean Shores are all within 35 min drive the choice is yours. Magical Minyon Falls with its powerful and wonderful waterfalls and uninhabited valley is a must. Don't forget to go bushwalking while you are there. There are also other national parks like mount Jerusalem that are close by.
The farm does have orchards. Slashing and planting of vegetables will be happening soon everything is organic. If you would like to purchase some organic farm jam just let me know.
The stone wall entrance was constructed at the turn of last century and you feel like you have stepped back in time as you imagine those who came across the area as they were amazed at what the area had to offer.
Remember it is the Australian bush so there could be snakes just. as there is with all bush in Australia about depending on the time of the year. There is a first aid kit on the property. The local hospital is in Byron 15 minute drive away. A toilet is completed.
We have had a celebrity stay for a weekend so you never know who you will see. There are celebrities that live in Federal so you may bump into one.

We've got 300 meters of pristine, year-round, spring-fed creek frontage, complete with a beautiful swimming hole that's just perfect for a refreshing dip. Beyond the creek, take a peaceful stroll through our serene spring-fed lotus pond or explore the productive lychee orchard when it's in season. And those waterfalls? You'll find three enchanting ones within just 500 meters of the property, showing off their beauty from various vantage points. Plus, the iconic Minyon Falls is only a short 10-minute drive away.
Guests have access to a charming small settlers cottage, which includes a cozy lounge area, a convenient kitchenette, and a warming fireplace – perfect for those cooler evenings. "Jalum" is a fifty acre property situated between the Gold Coast and Byron Bay and ten minutes from the coast. There are many activities available inc. fishing, bush walking etc.

We had a lovely stay on Allan’s land! He greeted us on arrival with his beautiful dog rosie and gave us a number of recommendations for our stay. The area is very well kept with very clean and pristine facilities, we also loved the shower under the stars! The views are fantastic with a brilliant view of the lighthouse in the distance. Definitely recommend.

Property was as described. Very handy to the highway when travelling north bound on the M1. Not too much noise from the highway if you park up on the western side of the property. Plenty of room for all to share. Reasonably priced even given there are currently no amenities.

Everything matched the description; a meadow with gorgeous views on NP's.
The access to Goonengerry NP is a little tricky, but good for fit people.
It was great to be able to let the dogs off lead as well as having access to some commodities.

My partner and I are traveling and were lucky enough to stay at this beautiful campground.
We could not recommend it enough as it’s not only a lovely space to stay, but all the amenities are super well organized, well looked after and clean.
We have decided to book an extra days to extend our trip.
What has made our trip that little bit extra special was meeting Cindy and Steve.
They made us feel so welcomed and looked after from the moment we checked into our stay. Any requested that we had were quickly met and nothing was a problem.
We will be returning again for our next stay here :)

There is facilities (toilet and shower) but they are up at Karen’s house so little bit of a walk (or short drive if you aren’t in a rooftop tent like us)

10 min drive from Pottsville beach
The main road is not too far away so unfortunately you can hear it a bit, not toooo great for really light sleepers but for us it didn’t bother us too much!

I loved camping at the haven on the river flats site. There were clear tent set up areas, fire pits and rhe campsites were spacious. The starry skies were so clear and vibrant at night time. The creek was fun for my son and I to play in and the shower was a real treat with strawberry plants growing under the walls. The owner is exceptionally knowledgeable about permaculture and gardening so in our conversation I learnt a lot from his expertise. This is a great place for people who want to chill.

Great location to use as a base to Byron, Brunswick Heads and Mullumbimby. As Lachlan said, there is some traffic noise but with a nice fire and some wine, all is forgotten, the grass is pretty long and it’s tough grass so some sort of mat would be of benefit.

We had a very relaxed few days at little haven, we were camped by the creek, very peaceful, lots of birds and great shady tree to park under. The outdoor shower was great, lovely and hot with good pressure. The sawdust compost toilet was well maintained. It was great to meet Grant and his partner and have a chat. We were made to feel very welcome as was our little dog.

Vili was a warm, welcoming host to this incredible pocket of Bundjalung land. The property is a dream; the camping meadow is private, peaceful and clean. Excellent amenities and the highlight is the flowing creek and swimming hole. Please enjoy this sacred land respectfully 🙏🩷 Highly recommend
