Hilltop or creekside camp sites on rural acreage. Horses, ducks and kangaroos keeping an eye on you. A wonderful place to spend a couple of nights to get away and relax!

We loved our time here, lots of space and you’ve got it all to yourself. Very neat, tidy and functional. The hosts were lovely and our daughter hired the caravan on site which was also very nice. Plenty of level grassed areas for placing tents. We will be back. Lenny C

5 nights at NSW Ski Gardens

If your thinking about visiting Wisemans ferry there isn't a better place to stay!!! The most picturesque views!! I would highly recommend getting a powered site. You get you own undercover area, bbq and gorgeous inlet into the river. The amenities are cleaned and the entire grounds are 10/10. Close by to the shops and a gorgeous pub- cold beer and great food. It is also a great fishing and swimming spot! We were just passing through here but our dog needed to undergo emergency surgery and were instructed that he can't be moved for the 4 weeks. The owners moved heaven and earth and allowed us to stay here for our boy could heal. It's truly feels like you are on a tropical island and hands down one of our best stays in Australia 10/10

Check in to check out was a breeze. Great facilities. Lots of space and bins at each camp spot. Beautiful river to walk along. Highly recommend :)

3 nights at Riverside Camping, Glamping, Cabins

We had a great time at Turon Gates, the amenities were clean and looked pretty new. Was great having a hot shower! The host was very friendly, our kids had a great time playing with her dog Tango. We saw a lot of wildlife, including a brave fox, like most places it’s a good idea to keep your food somewhere secure over night. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes camping.

1 night at Warm Corner

Warm Corner was a real luxury as a last stop before the long drive home. Lambert & Deborah were incredibly welcoming and hospitable with our last minute booking. It was dark, raining and very soggy when we arrived, so to have access to warm shower and a sheltered area, our stress levels were brought down a notch. Lambert greeted us and made us feel extremely comfortable. Lovely humans sharing a lovely space for tired and weary travellers. Thank you!

Really fantastic weekend here celebrating a 30th birthday, great space for anyone looking to get out of the city for a bit. Great fireplace to keep warm next to if it rains and covered shelter, big bbq and pizza oven! Watch the speed racing on the river and relax. Megan's a helpful, great host, highly recommended!

Weekend Trip to Jila Camp Grounds

What a spot! We had a group of 8 with 4 different camping arrangements a combo of camper trailers, tents and roof top tents. It housed us all perfectly. The public toilet amenities and camp sinks were very handy and tidy. The river is absolutely gorgeous and so clear. We floated and paddle boarded down, slowly walking back up stream. There are a lot of fire spots to choose from however some are very close to each other. We had another group of about 10 about 50m away however they could have come closer if they chose to which wouldn’t have been fun. The sites were clean and in great locations! Phil was so easy to communicate with and the toilets got tidied daily. From what we could see the glamping tents/showers/toilets and cooking facilities that come with them were pretty epic too. Liked how there was recycling and bins on the property. Thanks for a fab stay.

Weekend Trip to Tejn Loft Private Group Campsite

Our group had a fantastic time at Tejn loft. Having an undercover dining area, indoor kitchen and hot shower was a real treat particularly on a rainy weekend. The grounds are well maintained and the scenery is stunning. The kitchen is well equipped and the all the little touches made our trip so easy (tea towel provided for use 🙌🏻). We will definitely be back to enjoy this stunning spot again.

Great campsite not far from the city. Easy to get to and good communication from the host. Beautiful river and beach for kids to play in. Spacious camp sites and flushing toilets. No firewood provided however you can find lots of kindling and small branches.

We have cleared grassy paddocks, some shady areas, and access to the Colo River, one of the most pristine rivers in NSW. Our river access is normally shallow, well suited to young families or those who just want to lay back and enjoy a quiet refreshing dip. Amazing sunrises, sunsets, and star gazing are provided free of charge along with bird watching, local wildlife, and horses in surrounding paddocks. We offer limited sites to comply with NSW Camping legislation and Hipcamp guidelines and to enable campers to experience the Colo as it should be, listening to the beautiful wildlife and really appreciating the outdoors. Sites are large spaces with varying distance between sites to enable you to enjoy the camping experience in your own space. Both paddock sites and limited river spots are available. If you are planning to stay with friends and you wish to share a site only 1 booking is required, the sites are large, some up to 30m x 30m. (Saturday night 2 night minimum) Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis, please check with Hosts prior to booking, as conditions and a charge applies. Please ADD EXTRA at checkout for dogs... $20 per dog per visit There is no mobile reception or internet access, therefore, providing a true off-grid retreat. Self-sufficient campers are preferred. There are fire drums available on each site, most with grill plates - subject to RFS bush fire danger ratings on the day. There are three communal flushing toilets and two awesome hot water showers! ALL waste is to leave with you! There are local bush walks through National Parks and great places for mountain bike riding although be mindful of holiday traffic in peak times on our local dirt roads. The local shop, Colo Riverside is open 4 days a week Thurs-Sun, just 10kms up the road providing last-minute supplies, ice, bottle shop, and cafe services. Please note: Due to our location bookings may be canceled at short notice in times of bad weather due to flooding, limited access, fire or flood warnings. Our property is located in the Blue Mountains, nestled right in the middle of the national park and all that the Blue Mountains bush has to offer. Gums, ferns, fresh air and swimming holes. I only allow one group to camp at any one time per site. Other groups will be well away from you. However the dam is available for everyone to use. I adjust each booking with each group depending on size of the group and time of year. I also hold large events so will book out the entire site for large groups. Just a short drive from Sydney but a world away with its ancient forests and meandering pathways. All photos are from the site or within a 2km walk of the camping site in National Park or reserve. I welcome self-contained campers with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. However there are facilities on site for smaller groups at an extra cost. The property offers a number of sites that can accommodate various group numbers. Please message me if you're interested in booking one or more listings for your special get together. Dogs are welcome as long as they are friendly, but no cats please. Also please be aware that we are surrounded by nature and part of nature are snakes and ticks. - we need to keep this environment for the wildlife. Please take all your belongings and rubbish with you when you leave. Leave it better than as you found it. Please be aware that due to our proximity to the road and rail that at times you will hear some traffic noise. But most times it is very quiet except for the frogs.
