Welcome to this remote piece of paradise! Rhapsody is located in Gingkin,, which is not far from Oberon NSW, about 3 hours west of Sydney. Campsites are hidden in a remote valley direct frontage to the pristine Hollanders River, adjoining the Kanangra-Boyd National Park. There are two private campsites on grassy river flats surrounded by eucalyptus forest. The sites are very secluded so you will see lots of wildlife and you're guaranteed not to see any other people! Only one group can stay at each campsite and campsites are on different parts of the river so privacy is guaranteed. In dry conditions 2WD is fine for Wallaby flat but in wet weather, 4WD is required. Platypus flat is 4wd only. You can always park at the top of the hill and walk down first if you're not sure. Dog friendly. Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place. Gather your own wood from fallen timber on the way in or BYO wood. Not much firewood available on site. Both campsites can get quite cool as they are low in the valley. This is a wild and remote area. Guided remote bushwalks also available for those who are fit and adventurous. Both campsites have a pit toilets, cold shower, spring water on tap, picnic tables.. Water is sourced from a distant spring in the mountain and is gravity fed to the site by above ground pipe which heats the water during the day. There is a small area where you can get Telstra mobile reception at the cattle grid on the way into the property, but very limited mobile reception in this area. If you are on Optus or other networks you won't get any reception. There is no mobile reception at camp - perfect for disconnecting and reconnecting with nature!

The lower deck houses the kitchen and bathroom with a front deck complete with barbecue and amazing views. Relax and watch the kangaroos and eagles from your private deck. Summer swimming in the crystal clear river and winter camp fires where you can toast marshmallows. The lower level has a cooktop "no oven or fridge share fridge at entrance of park", outside gas BBQ and tables. You will need to bring your own drinking water. There is a toilet and shower downstairs. The top deck has two small single beds and one double, quilts and pillows however BYO linen sheets and towels. This bus has featured on many TV shows and is often featured in travel magazines, including on Better Homes and Gardens television in 2013 and in many magazines shoots. Welcome to this remote piece of paradise! Rhapsody is located in Gingkin,, which is not far from Oberon NSW, about 3 hours west of Sydney. Campsites are hidden in a remote valley direct frontage to the pristine Hollanders River, adjoining the Kanangra-Boyd National Park. There are two private campsites on grassy river flats surrounded by eucalyptus forest. The sites are very secluded so you will see lots of wildlife and you're guaranteed not to see any other people! Only one group can stay at each campsite and campsites are on different parts of the river so privacy is guaranteed. In dry conditions 2WD is fine for Wallaby flat but in wet weather, 4WD is required. Platypus flat is 4wd only. You can always park at the top of the hill and walk down first if you're not sure. Dog friendly. Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place. Gather your own wood from fallen timber on the way in or BYO wood. Not much firewood available on site. Both campsites can get quite cool as they are low in the valley. This is a wild and remote area. Guided remote bushwalks also available for those who are fit and adventurous. Both campsites have a pit toilets, cold shower, spring water on tap, picnic tables.. Water is sourced from a distant spring in the mountain and is gravity fed to the site by above ground pipe which heats the water during the day. There is a small area where you can get Telstra mobile reception at the cattle grid on the way into the property, but very limited mobile reception in this area. If you are on Optus or other networks you won't get any reception. There is no mobile reception at camp - perfect for disconnecting and reconnecting with nature!

Platypus Waterhole is rented out as one site exclusive to the booking. This exclusivity allows our guests complete privacy. We are located on a cattle property less that two hours out of the rush and business of cities. Our camping site is suitable for groups up to 20 people. The camp site is close to two creeks, Blackheath Creek and Little Stoney Creek where the protected Platypus are frequently seen, along with our wombats and kangaroos. Cox’s River is a ten minute drive suitable for swimming and fishing. We have a compost toilet, outdoor shower (restricted water) covered camp kitchen with tap water from tank, BBQ, fire pit indoors/outdoors, table, chairs, sleeping area, tent area, shade trees, picturesque site. . We charge all guests a one-off exclusivity site fee. This applies to all guests whether you book one night or seven nights. You need to add this to your booking. This is an exclusive private camping area on the beautiful Blackheath Creek. The camping area has a fantastic shelter/camp kitchen with internal fireplace, wood fired stove, sink, running water & a preparation area together with a gas BBQ & large dining table with bench seats. There is hot water and an open air shower. A long drop toilet is located nearby. At night the shelter is lit by solar powered lights & the glow of the campfire. The shelter is accessible by 4WD. Dogs are not permitted. Limited firewood is provided. Firewood can be purchased at $50 for a generous bundle. It is not possible to know how much firewood is required for your stay so during winter please take this into consideration.

Artisans Park is a farm set on top of a mountain which is sometimes windy sometimes snowing and being a farm we have animals and spiders and everything that nature includes note we can not control the weather or nature, there are no local coffee shops, we are not connected to the electricity. This is a camping site and our stays are like camping all heating is wood hot water is gas and lights are solar, No TV no power points no fancy appliances. If you like camping and staying in something unique Artisans Park is the place for you, If you want a luxurious five star stay we are defiantly not the place our stays are basic and clean. 1949 London Bus, WW2 Army Tower, 1885 Trig Hut Artisans Park is located 45 minutes from Bathurst and is the closest city for food and fuel. We do not have local shops or fuel stations. The London bus is suitable for children as the upper deck houses the bedroom. The lower deck houses the kitchen and bathroom with a front deck complete with barbecue and amazing views. Relax and watch the kangaroos and eagles from your private deck. Summer swimming in the crystal clear river and winter camp fires where you can toast marshmallows. The lower level has a cooktop "no oven or fridge share fridge at entrance of park", outside gas BBQ and tables. You will need to bring your own drinking water. There is a toilet and shower downstairs. The top deck has two small single beds and one double, quilts and pillows however BYO linen sheets and towels. This bus has featured on many TV shows and is often featured in travel magazines, including on Better Homes and Gardens television in 2013 and in many magazines shoots. No pets please. once again no pets including dogs.

Lovely open field with beautiful big trees along the edge under which the campsites are situated. There is a power box (thank you!) with 4 sockets situated in the field near the camp sites. Two toilets and two showers are avail to use. BYO soap & toilet paper. The stars at night are incredible!! Overall we loved our brief stay and will be back. Thank you Tracey!

My family and pup had a lovely stay at Trout Valley farm. The property was gorgeous and covered with tiny white daisies when we visited in Summer. We stayed at the site with a backdrop of a large clifftop. It was incredible to have the whole property to ourselves! We enjoyed swimming and kayaking down the river. The cabin was also super helpful as we were struck by heavy rain on our trip and we were able to bunker down inside and play board games. The cabin had everything we could need - gas stoves, seating for our whole party of 8, Pots and pans, utensils, mugs, kettle, camping lights, and a number of pull out sofa beds (although we did sleep in tents the option was there). The wildlife was amazing! So many roos and birds. Awesome to have a flushing toilet and sink to wash hands and mum and dad got a hot shower in the morning! As the electricity ran on solar we were reliant on camping lights at night. Tom also provided a nice fire pit to sit out and enjoy the fire.

We had a very lovely stay at Turon Gates. The place was very clean and well taken cared off. The toilets and showers are very convenient and clean. There’s a couple of sink that can be used to clean utensils with potable water. Wildlife’s great! The horses came around to greet everyone. We spotted kangaroos, sheep, kookaburras and goats. The river’s clean and a great place to have a swim. We surely will be back
