Bimbi means 'bird' in the language of the Widjabul people of the Bundalung nation, the land on which our farm is situated. The property is 5 minutes from the Channon which has the general store, post office and fuel, plus the well renowned tavern. It is an easy drive to the stunning Protestor and Minyon Falls, Rocky Creek Dam, Whian Whian and Nightcap National Parks, Nimbin, Clunes, Eltham and Bangalow. All offer great opportunities for exploring. We are 20 minutes from Lismore and 45 minutes to the coast, Byron and Ballina.

Honestly don’t even want to leave a review because I’d rather keep this place a secret! But it deserves it — and it’s only going to get more popular as they keep improving it. We had an amazing stay here. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help us. Communication was clear and easy from start to finish, and the directions and access were spot on. The property itself is stunning — a gorgeous part of the world, private and peaceful. Each site is secluded and spread out; you wouldn’t even know there were other people around. It did rain a lot during our stay (not their fault, of course!) and access definitely required a 4x4. But the hosts went absolutely above and beyond to help — even spending over an hour with the tractor making sure we could get up the hill safely with our van. We felt really looked after. Facilities were great — the toilet and shower were basic but totally usable, and it was awesome having river access nearby. Our dogs loved it too — both on and off-leash depending on where we were. Bug and mosquito levels were really low, even after heavy rain, which was a nice surprise! Overall, can’t wait to get back. Between the location, the setup, and the next round of improvements on the way, this place is a gem.

We broke down 10km for the site and had to have van towed, Craig, Greg & Andy were fantastic in allowing us to glamp in one of their tents, whilst providing impeccable hostage, care, comfort, consideration in ensuring we were looked after not only by them, but the other campers. All contributed to ensuring our stay was easy and memorable- we will be back soon!

We stayed in the studio - a room with external access in the hosts' residence. Facilities are basic and rustic but enough for us to easily be comfortable. We enjoyed sharing space with Craig and Greg (Andy was away). They were very hospitable and kept us well supplied with tea, coffee and good conversation about so many topics. One evening, we were taken on a short walk to see glow worms and bioluminescent fungi - both dependent on suitable conditions. The property is large enough to take a good bushwalk along a meandering trail cut through the rainforest, providing lots of interesting opportunities to spot fascinating wildlife and flora. We'd love to return some time. We appreciated the hosts' welcoming, non-judgemental and relaxed hospitality.

Barachi by the Creek was the most perfect place to get away and unwind after a busy Term 1. Peter and Tania have created an inviting space filled with all the rustic charm of simpler times. It really is a magical glamping experience:, one we were very pleased to swap our camper trailer for, for a few days. We highly recommend Barachi for the perfect peaceful getaway.

As long as you are okay having naked people ( which is what it’s about ) it’s a good spot, good shower, toilets , peaceful and the guys are super friendly and helpful. Can’t comment on swimming hole as was just after cyclone so bit muddy but imagine normal times we good ,. Nice walks on the property

Jaya's camp was absolutely fantastic! Our two little dogs who had the best time being able to run off leash. The site is perfectly levelled, provides heaps of space, and a campfire. Beautiful little getaway in a cute rustic cabin near the creek. We were greeted by roaming friendly cows as we arrived. The cabin is set quite far down the property which makes the property feel very secluded. Peter & Tania have everything you need for your stay to give you a bit of a “glamping” experience. Only thing would be is the cabin can get a bit stuffy but if there is a nice breeze then you’ll be fine, there is also a rechargeable fan inside the cabin, we were able to go for a dip in the creek to cool down too. Highly recommended!!

We had a very peaceful stay at the Hut, surrounded by nature - a highlight being sleeping with all the windows open under the net, and hearing the babbling creek, and bird & insect life all around us. It’s the perfect spot to hit the Rail Trail, we did 58km and soaked in the hot tub that night. The Hut has everything you need - bbq, coffee machine, kitchen utensils, large fridge, linen & towels. Burringbar town is super close if you want a meal out. We had a delicious breakfast at Teakwood, and got to meet Craig and have a chat about the history of the property. It’s a lovely place for couples to disconnect.

Tucked away in a tranquil, secluded valley, this hidden gem is surrounded by Long Creek to the south and Findon Creek to the west, while the northern edge extends to the breathtaking Border Ranges National Park. On Gullibal land, Figtree Farm provides captivating vistas of Jalgumbin (Mt Lindesay) to the west and Lever's Plateau, a designated wilderness area of unlogged subtropical rainforest, to the north. Figtree Farm has an abundance of bird and animal life. Here, tranquillity reigns, save for the occasional serenade of our friendly neighbourhood donkeys and the odd rooster. If you wish to wander further afield, Kyogle is a 30 minute drive away. And there is an all weather tennis court (with lights) nearby at Bundgeam Hall. Figtree Farm at Findon Creek promises opportunities for contemplation, relaxation and fun and it is our wish that you will have many happy memories of your visit here.
