Come and set up camp along 6 acres of creek flat, Nestled at the foothills of Wollumbin Mount Warning and surrounded by the famed national parks of the Tweed region.
Our camp area is situated on Rowlands creek, offering 6 acres of creek flat with 3 waterholes.
There are plenty of activities to try around town, from bushwalking, exploring the Rail Trail in Murwillumbah and downhill mountain biking at the Uki Mountain Bike Park (Less then 8Km from our property).
The property is just
5km from the beautiful village of Uki. Uki is a place where community spirit hums. Village markets every Saturday selling local foods and crafts. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month.
Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store.
Pet welcome on leash and under control. Campfires are permitted within local regulations.
We do have a bathtub’s on four sites. Campers should leave no trace.
We are a short drive from the beautiful Hell’s hole, Unicorn falls and Mavis Kitchens. Take a day trip to Byron Bay (50min) Brunswick Heads (40min) Mullumbimby (35min) Tyalgum (30min). 45mins from Gold Coast airport.

You will feel like you are on top of the world however, Doon Doon Creeks, clear constantly running water with a large swimming hole is only a stroll down the hill.
The property is a 116 acre working cattle farm. Campers are welcome to explore the many walking tracks on the property as well as the bordering national park.

Amazing, quiet little part of Tweed Valley.
We would definitely come again. Our dog was happy. We could rinse off and enjoy the creek, though it was low with no rain for a while. The sunset walk was the best part.

Well maintained spot with a great view, Nice and private. Recommend walking upto camp site before driving up if towing, just to plan your way in as space is a bit tight at the top. 2.3T 5.6M hybrid caravan.

It's a great spot and we had a lovely weekend. Minutes from Uki town, the pub, Clarrie Hall Dam, awesome swim at Byrill Creek down the road.
A couple of things were a little annoying so have to provide an balanced review.
I advised Bob we had "two large caravans and five little kids" and at his suggestion booked the lower spot next to the creek. Zero chance our 22 foot vans were getting down/up the hill. Suitable for offroad campers only. Luckily another group had arrived at the same time and were happy to swap. Couldn't get Bob on the phone but he called back an hour later and was very apologetic (genuinely seems a very nice guy).
So we setup in Upper Windmill instead (paddock above the creek). Clearly the paddock hadn't been mowed in weeks - grass was a foot tall, which wasn't the best for our little kids to run around and play. Also no firewood on site but I should have asked earlier. The road is not intrusive at all - it's a quiet road with only local cars and dam visitors driving past.
In summary, would still recommend. Better communication would have avoided some stress upon our arrival and check the paddock has been recently mowed.

We all had a great time, the sites were clean and spaced out plenty. The toilets were immaculately clean, and had toilet paper. There was a great swimming spot to keep cool in, and it was awesome seeing the cows come by in the morning!!

Lovely place to camp for a long weekend. The grounds are very well looked after as the owner has just mowed before arriving. A friendly horse that will walk around. Lots of space so you don’t feel on top of each other. Would be a great spot to base yourself to do the local national parks

7 nights at Rowlands Creek Camp Area
Spacious and tidy campsites at Rowlands. We camped with another family and felt like we had a whole paddock and creek to ourselves. We took the SUP for the deeper sections of the creek and sat on deck chairs in the shallow, shady sections to avoid the summer heat. Portable toilets were well stocked and nearly lasted the distance of our 7 night stay. Roaming horses and cows added to the country feel and I was surprised at how well our dogs adjusted to these big visitors to our camp site. Really happy that a smell from an adjacent property was investigated promptly. UKI nearby was lovely and I highly recommend the Bastion Lane Espresso and the local pub (Mount Warning Hotel), both were lovely with great quality produce and lovely service.

Wonderful location - we camped on a the edge of a huge open field surrounded by gigantic piney trees. The sites are very generously spaced, which was perfect for us. There was a creek running by the edge of the campsite, and a swimming hole just a few minutes' walk away. Horses would come and say hello quite often, the toilets are in very good state, and the host was very nice. Will definitely be going back :)

Great place to have some R&R. Spacious sites - only 3. Very short walk to the creek where we floated in our tubes. Water not very deep but definitely refreshing on a hot day.
Nice walk to the dam, then further tracks through the bushy surrounds of the dam. Uki township and pub only minutes away. Lunch at the pub was excellent. Will be back for sure. Thanks Bob.
