It is a large block and there are campsites far enough away that you can enjoy the peace and quiet.
Our guests are required to be self contained (have own shower & toilet). Our pub toilets are open 24 hours as a courtesy. We also have a basic/spartan shower/toilet block for emergencies/back up.
Pets are permitted but must be kept on a leash at all times n campground and at the pub. This is to protect the wildlife and surrounding environment.
Our property features a Koala habitat and a creek where we occasionally spot platypus. There are a range of great nearby activities, farms, orchards, walks etc.
It's the perfect spot to explore the Cooloola Coast, Rainbow Beach and Fraser Island.

Deepdene Farmstay is a beautiful rural property with a fabulous view! We have a number of unpowered camp sites located approximately 5 minutes drive from Augusta, which offers a number of tourist attractions and great fishing spots. We are also located a short 800m from Jewel Cave, which is a very popular tourist attraction and café.
Our campsites overlook paddocks of cows and horses, with a lovely breeze and a number of large trees to offer shade in the summer, while being protected from the harsh winds in winter.
If you are pretty much self contained and would like to camp out away from the hustle and bustle, in a tranquil and peaceful setting...then this is for you. However, if you like life's luxuries, then this won't be your cup of tea. One of the reviews said nice but a bit wild, I think they must be used to caravan parks or something.
We try our best to fit in with the environment, so we have a couple of compost toilets and solar showers (for private not public use, for more info on this, please enquire ) and compost and recycling bins to try and do our bit.
Dogs are permitted but this is a working farm with livestock so uncontrolled dogs chasing wildlife or stock which cant be controlled will be dealt with as needed including euthanised. If its hard to control don't bring it please!

A short walk along a path through the trees will have you standing on the iconic Neck ocean beach. This 11.5 kilometres of pristine sand and ocean offers surfing, swimming and fishing. The beach is also home to the island's Fairy Penguins who return to their burrows in the sand dunes at dusk. The best viewing period is during the warmer months of September to February.
Bruny Island Cheese, Get Shucked Oysters, Bruny Island Honey are a ten-minute drive north.
Adventure Bay with its Bowls Club, General Store and Service Station and coffee shop are a 15-minute drive south.
Penicott Wilderness Journeys and Fish Bruny Island private charters are also located at Adventure Bay.
15 minutes drive to the south west is Alonnah, where you'll find the brilliant Bruny Island Hotel - a pub with the best food, service and amazing sunset view over the Channel and Satellite Island. Alonnah is also home to the local Police Station, Pharmacy, Cricket Club, two great coffee shop options, and a skate bowl for the concrete shredders.
NOTE: your GPS is likely to send you several hundred metres south of the actual property entrance. We have a number of unpowered camp sites located approximately 5 minutes drive from Augusta, which offers a number of tourist attractions and great fishing spots. Our campsites overlook paddocks of cows and horses, with a lovely breeze and a number of large trees to offer shade in the summer, while being protected from the harsh winds in winter.
If you are pretty much self contained and would like to camp out away from the hustle and bustle, in a tranquil and peaceful setting...then this is for you. However, if you like life's luxuries, then this won't be your cup of tea. One of the reviews said nice but a bit wild, I think they must be used to caravan parks or something.
We try our best to fit in with the environment, so we have a couple of compost toilets and solar showers (for private not public use, for more info on this, please enquire ) and compost and recycling bins to try and do our bit.
Dogs are permitted but this is a working farm with livestock so uncontrolled dogs chasing wildlife or stock which cant be controlled will be dealt with as needed including euthanised. If its hard to control don't bring it please!

Bruny Island Cheese, Get Shucked Oysters, Bruny Island Honey are a ten-minute drive north.
Adventure Bay with its Bowls Club, General Store and Service Station and coffee shop are a 15-minute drive south.
Penicott Wilderness Journeys and Fish Bruny Island private charters are also located at Adventure Bay.
15 minutes drive to the south west is Alonnah, where you'll find the brilliant Bruny Island Hotel - a pub with the best food, service and amazing sunset view over the Channel and Satellite Island. We provide a secluded sanctuary located 10 minutes from the town centre of Yamba. Yamba is known to have some of Australia's best beaches Ideal for surfing, fishing and all of your water sports needs.
Other main attractions of Yamba include; Yamba Golf and Country Club, Yamba Bowling Club, the Pacific Hotel and Yamba Shores Tavern. Just a short drive further south lies the beautiful village of Angourie and the Yuraygir National Park.
Coles shopping centre is only a 2 minute drive making stocking up on essentials quick and easy.
Our riverfront site is ideal for smaller set-ups wanting a more private setting with kayak access and fishing at your front door. Larger caravans and RVs are more suited around the freshwater dam with gravel road access and there is plenty of room on the open grassy spots for tents and small vans.
New Shelter and BBQ area has now been completed next to the dam with a picnic table, seating and potable water available.
A wide variety of flora and fauna call these sensitive mangrove wetlands home. Ideal for birdwatchers and outdoor enthusiasts wanting to explore this special area.

You will be surrounded by 5 acre of well-kept and loved gardens, with an abundance of bird life and colour.
The sites are located on four areas and different level areas for self contained caravans or tenting. This is a private area that is sheltered from strong winds and you are able to have a small camp fire barbeque.
Your site is well secure to be able t
o leave if you wish to travel around the beautiful South Gippsland area.
We are only 3.9 kms from the beautiful charming town of Mirboo North with all facilities available in the picturesque Strzelecki Ranges. Discover country hospitality,
A dip in the newly built swimming pool is a must for families on the warmer days
The Lyrebird Forest Walk is a pretty half hour bushwalk or a longer walk and a river walk that is on the north entry to the town with lots of seating available which are all named after volunteers that have created these walks
There is also the rail trail which follows the old railway line all the way to Boolarra and the Morwell River Falls a short drive from Boolarra
The Naracan falls is on the way to Thorpedale
Head for the hills to Walhalla old mining town and steam train rides
Willow grove and the Blue Rock Dam makes for a pretty drive to north in the hills
You are only 45 min drive to the coast of Inverloch and Tarwin Lower Waratah Wineries....
and follow the South Gippsland highway all the way to the very pretty towns of the Meeniyan, Foster, Toora, Agnus Water Falls, Port Welshpool,
historic Port Albert, Yarram, Woodside and the ninety mile beach,
Tarra Bulga National Park,
enjoying lovely views of the coast on the way.
It is desirable for you to be self contained .. for those that don,t understand what self contained means.... You will need
Your own porta potti and tent. The nearest dump point is the local BP station Mirboo North

You can bring your own shower tent facility .
If you require more drinking water it is available on request.
If you need more info please... ( Re fire pit and cooking facilities.
You can use a fire pit when there is a fire ban .... but not when there's
a "TOTAL FIRE BAN"

I have just returned from spending two peaceful nights tent camping at Milleara Gardens. From the moment I arrived I could see that it would be a great stay. The gardens are kept immaculately and the camping areas are well-signed, neatly mowed and there's plenty of space. The owner, Helen, swung by to say hello a few minutes after I arrived and we had a good chat about the terrible bushfires affecting much of Victoria. Although I came prepared to be fully self-contained, Helen offered the use of a porta-loo for a small additional charge, which I gladly accepted. I highly recommend Milleara Gardens and will definitely be making a return visit in the near future.

Our first experience together with my wife. We had never been camping since we were in Australia. We are from Colombia 🇨🇴 and we wanted to feel the nature that will remind us of our beautiful land. And we found here the ideal place, quiet, calm, we were lucky that it was not occupied; which we loved because we were looking for privacy. Helen was a wonderful, attentive and helpful host. I definitely recommend the place. 🔥

We enjoyed the peaceful farm surrounds and the rustic facilities. Everything we needed for comfort was there while we still felt we were off grid. Plenty of space to set up for 2 families and still not camp on top of other campers.

We loved sitting looking out over the paddocks looking at the various animals. It is very central to Albany and Margaret River.
We had a lovely peaceful Christmas and New Year.

Amazing site!! Our first Hipcamp and we walked to the pub for the most amazing meals and atmosphere. All the trees and flowers with a saxophone playing in the restaurant…. So relaxing! Will be back in some form!

We loved Sublime , the grounds were beautiful and having the brewery right next door was a gem. The people , the food the whole atmosphere was wonderful.
It was a busy little place with people coming and going but everyone was so respectful of each other , and at night it was great to pop over to the brewery have a meal and listen to some awesome local talent singing.
This was our first time here and can't wait to go back was very hard leaving , was the best way to end a big year and see in the NY having a relaxing break at Sublime.

Sublime Camp is very basic, best if you are fully self contained.
Sites are huge, heaps of room.
Was a nice credit to grounds keeper that sites are well kept mowed and no prickles was awesome.
Nice also that the bar is not over charging on drinks and food, dinner was nice 👍

Lovely little place with heaps of space between campers. Cows next door who are very friendly. Close to Wilson’s prom and a couple other beaches too. Host was very easy going and made instructions to get in very clear with sites clearly laid out too
