We have a selection of beautiful creek side locations where you can enjoy the clear, fresh running water and a selection of other sites only a short walk from the water. Conveniently located just a short drive off the Bruce Highway our sites are not designated, you choose your own on arrival

While staying, you will have the opportunity to take a walk into the past to view a private collection of Australiana, including a working stationary, engine display and vintage kitchen with wood stoves.
Access to the property is via a creek crossing so it is advisable to phone ahead if there has been recent rain or rainfall is forecast.
Toilets are located on the property but campers will need their own shower facilities and take all waste with them on departure. Campfires are permitted but must be contained at all times, we also sell firewood at $15 for a milk crate.
Calen is a small cane growing and cattle town with a general store, pharmacy, service station, butcher and the local pub. Zarby's cafe is a short drive away if you would like to dine in for breakfast or lunch in a retro style setting.
Each site fee is for 2 adults and kids stay at no cost.

Our guests are required to be self contained (have own shower & toilet). Our pub toilets are open 24 hours as a courtesy. We also have a basic/spartan shower/toilet block for emergencies/back up.
Pets are permitted but must be kept on a leash at all times n campground and at the pub. This is to protect the wildlife and surrounding environment. To note during our large events (ie: Sublime Fest) pets are not allowed due to numbers on site.
Our property features a Koala habitat and a creek where we occasionally spot platypus. There are a range of great nearby activities, farms, orchards, walks etc.
It's the perfect spot to explore the Cooloola Coast, Rainbow Beach and Fraser Island.
Fires are permitted in a raised fire pit - all campers to provide own fire pit. No fires during Fire Bans.

1. STRICTLY No Caravans, RV's, Tents or any camping site is to be set up within 50 meters of the creek.
2. No more that 20 people camping on the property at one time - we must know your exact numbers.
3. Zero impact to the land and surrounds, treat it like you would a National Park.
4. ALL WASTE must be bagged and taken off site with you. The rubbish bins in the street are not ours. They belong to the people that live in the valley. You must be prepared to take all rubbish home with you.

I have a small private property with grass campsites by a tidal outlet to Port Stephens harbour. We do not offer secluded camp sites away from other people on large acreage.
You can spend your days fishing, kayaking or enjoying Nelson Bay and surrounding areas and beaches which are only 15 minutes away. Guests have the use of a retreat shelter/fire place/BBQ area and wifi.
Campers must try to be self contained bringing their own water, toilet and shower. Sorry, no caravans over 20ft. Suite solo travellers, couples wanting a quiet weekend and LGBT friendly. We do have available tank, rain water for drinking, a toilet and hot shower, microwave and free wifi available for those who cannot be totally self contained. Yes there are mozzies because you are near water, so bring repellent.

You will have access to our beautiful peaceful surroundings, with adequate shelter under some lovely big trees park your camper or pitch a swag. We also have a nice running creek that you can enjoy watching our many wildlife that are present throughout the creek, fish, eels and turtles.
It's truly a very private and relaxing spot to chill out and enjoy camping for a few days or whatever suits your needs while passing the area. Plenty of fantastic swimming holes nearby including Josephine falls and Babinda boulders very popular spots for tourist and the locals.
Site 1 right down on the creek large grass flat space big enough for two families to set up camp. The creek runs around the outside so there are a number of viewing points to see the wildlife mentioned above. A set of solar lights hang over the firepit area allowing for more light while cooking on our wonderful swinging hotplate BBQ.
Site 2 Our newer spot work in progress not so ideal for camper trailers. your situated under our tree line away from the main creek. A smaller paver firepit, plenty fine for sitting around an open fire while watching the stars at night.
Swimming in the creek is not recommended.
So please check by internal message before confirming your booking that way we can confirm a spot while discussing your needs to ensure you have a clear view of your camping area.
Onsite we have our shared outhouse porta toilet which is positioned in the middle of both camping areas for everyone's convenience.

Daintree Beach Resort has seen many exciting changes over the last 18 months and there are more to come.
Our private tropical oasis, on the doorstep of the Daintree Rainforest has seen many guests return year after year to enjoy this perfect piece of paradise. With our exciting changes, we look forward to seeing the resort evolve from a sleepy caravan park, to a vibrant resort style property with a variety of accommodation options, food and beverage offerings, new and improved facilities plus a new resort style pool and beach bar which we are hoping to confirm in 2025.
In May 2024, we completed the first of our glamping pavilions. These pavilions have allowed us to provide our first step of offering a variety of accommodation options for our discerning guests. This project received tourism grant funding from the Australian Government, which has allowed us to expand on our original concept and has made the glamping pavilions really quite special.
Our amenity buildings have undertaken a fresh makeover which now provides state of the art washing machines and dryers with tap and go payment options - no need for coins. A vending machine for that late afternoon or evening snack, immaculately clean bathrooms and a camp kitchen with shared facilities for those campers who like to do their own thing.
Our Food & Beverage van is now open and offers a variety of food choices. Open daily from 12pm to 8.00pm (season dependent) we invite our guests and locals to come and enjoy our beautiful park setting.
With a multitude of accommodation options for the most discerning guest, Daintree Beach Resort is becoming the destination, not just a place to stay.

Rainforest and Tropical Gardens is alcohol, tobacco and drug free. This property has secure, private, peaceful camp sites in beautiful gardens amongst pristine rainforest.
Located a few kms from the small town of Mossman in Far North Queensland.
20 Km's from Port Douglas. Check in closes 7 pm.
Campfires are welcome in the fire pits provided, plenty of fire wood on site.
Pets are welcome, please ensure you clean up after them and keep them under control at all times.
There is no onsite toilet, but there is a public toilet on the right just before town about 4 km's away.
We cater for tents, car camping, camping trailers and light weight caravans, but for caravans you cannot book in advance. You must contact us on the day. If it is dry you will be welcome to make a booking.

A good overnight stop for anyone heading north. The facilities were clean and well maintained, the owner was friendly and welcoming, and it's a great spot if you're travelling with a dog. The beach and nearby falls are both within walking distance, although dogs aren't permitted at the falls. There are also some long-term residents on site, so it felt a little busier than we were expecting, but it was still a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Louise is a lovely, welcoming host who goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The grounds and amenities are spotless, well maintained, and everything is kept to a high standard. My children had an amazing time riding their push bikes around safely and spending hours fishing, which made our stay even more enjoyable. It was a peaceful, family-friendly place to relax and unwind. I highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a clean, quiet, and welcoming place.

Great site - Dean & Chris were awesome.
Perfect for campervans / caravans (def not for tents), by a nice creek. Excellent bathrooms, good laundry, BBQs for cooking and tables. Tubs provided for fire pits - bring fire lighters if you want to use them.
Overall it felt safe and comfortable.

Dean the host was so welcoming! This is a great location with a great history and very cool to say we’ve stayed at the old Hartleys Croc site with a croc even in the creek on the site. The only downfall was that we weren’t allowed to park our camper trailer on the grass so it was separate to our tent area. This meant we had to walk between our camper trailer kitchen and swag. Otherwise, great overnight stay.

Great safe and quiet spot, clean amenities and Dean is a great host, he will show you to your spot and get you settled in. Great beach nearby with a good fishing spot where the creek runs into the sea. Fires are allowed and power and water hook ups. We will stay again.
