Park your van in our picturesque orchard grove. We are right next door to Sublime Farm and Brewery, where you can meet new friends, grab some limes, grab a delicious meal, sample their craft brews, and enjoy live music on the weekends.
It is a large block and there are campsites far enough away that you can enjoy the peace and quiet. All our sites are unpowered.
Our guests are required to be self contained (have own shower & toilet). Our pub toilets are open 24 hours as a courtesy. We also have a basic/spartan shower/toilet block for emergencies/back up.
Pets are permitted but must be kept on a leash at all times n campground and at the pub. This is to protect the wildlife and surrounding environment. To note during our large events (ie: Sublime Fest) pets are not allowed due to numbers on site.
Our property features a Koala habitat and a creek where we occasionally spot platypus. There are a range of great nearby activities, farms, orchards, walks etc.
It's the perfect spot to explore the Cooloola Coast, Rainbow Beach and Fraser Island.
Fires are permitted in a raised fire pit - all campers to provide own fire pit. No fires during Fire Bans.

Calen is a small cane growing and cattle town with a general store, pharmacy, service station, butcher and the local pub. Zarby's cafe is a short drive away if you would like to dine in for breakfast or lunch in a retro style setting.
Each site fee is for 2 adults and kids stay at no cost.

As part of this we have to follow some simple protocol! Unfortunately, we have had some issues with local council, we ask that you follow these simple rules extremely closely failure to do may cause us to reject your booking and may incur penalties to both of us as the landholders and also the camper.
1. STRICTLY No Caravans, RV's, Tents or any camping site is to be set up within 50 meters of the creek.
2. No more that 20 people camping on the property at one time - we must know your exact numbers.
3. Zero impact to the land and surrounds, treat it like you would a National Park.
4. ALL WASTE must be bagged and taken off site with you. The rubbish bins in the street are not ours. They belong to the people that live in the valley. You must be prepared to take all rubbish home with you.

Once you're here you feel all your worries and stress drift away as you unwind and relax in the Manor estate and its surrounds. A farm with a difference, with a small-scale ECO low impact primitive camping style.
Enjoy the peace and tranquility as you hear the birds or just sit watching the water trickle through the creeks and waterholes. We have array of wildlife on our estate and its surrounds.

You can spend your days fishing, kayaking or enjoying Nelson Bay and surrounding areas and beaches which are only 15 minutes away. Guests have the use of a retreat shelter/fire place/BBQ area and wifi.
Campers must try to be self contained bringing their own water, toilet and shower. Sorry, no caravans over 20ft. Suite solo travellers, couples wanting a quiet weekend and LGBT friendly. We do have available tank, rain water for drinking, a toilet and hot shower, microwave and free wifi available for those who cannot be totally self contained. Lakeview is a wonderful spot for short or long stays. Area 4 was roomy enough for 4 vans with plenty of space to spread out. We all enjoyed the sunsets sitting around the fire pit and then watching the stars come out.. This was our second time staying at Lakeview and our friends have stayed multiple times. We will all be back again. Thank you Belinda and Shane for sharing your beautiful spot.
