Horse Lovers Paradise is nestled in the beautiful Hazen Valley amongst Douglas Fir trees and a seasonal stream. Here on the ranch we provide room for campers with Tents, RV's, remote Hillside Camping and a Cozy Bunkhouse Room. You will find the ranch peaceful and serene. Our garden/event area is prefect for children to play or gathering for a visit. There's firewood available which you may purchase here on the HipCamp site. There are plenty of animals to love. We have horses to brush, ride and feed. You may also see a dog, cat and free-range chickens. Did I happen to mention that we have a pet pig? Yes, Miss Piggy!! We are all about the animals and hoping to create wonderful memories for you and your family.

  • Review summary

    Generated from real Hipcamper reviews

Michelle's ranch offers a warm and welcoming escape, where guests feel right at home amidst the animals and beautiful landscape. Reviewers consistently mention the friendly and accommodating nature of Michelle and her team, making the stay special with personal touches and equine experiences. The ranch is described as a perfect getaway for families, with activities like horse riding and interactions with animals being highlights. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, the communal nature of the space might not appeal to everyone seeking solitude.

We had such a wonderful stay here! Michelle was an incredible host — warm, gracious, and so generous. She made us feel completely comfortable and welcome. The property is beautiful, with gorgeous horses, chickens, and such a peaceful setting. My daughters absolutely loved the horses, and the horseback rides were a highlight of our stay. Michelle made us feel so comfortable and made the experience really special. The bunkhouse was wonderful and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, with a Keurig and quality coffee, half-and-half, honey, tea, sugar, and all the thoughtful little touches. Although it’s advertised as communal, we were the only ones using it during our stay, so it felt very private. The shower was also amazing — great water pressure and plenty of hot water! We loved making s’mores around the campfire with our family. My husband and I kept looking at each other throughout our stay saying, “This is so great. We would absolutely come back here.” We were both so happy with our decision to choose this Hipcamp experience and kept talking about how glad we were that we picked this place. Such a special experience for our family. We absolutely hope to come back!

This is the absolute perfect getaway for all ages. Not only is the property absolutely breathtaking, all the beautiful horses, chickens, roosters, goats and sheep that you are surrounded by and get a chance to meet, spoil and learn about was truly the highlight. It’s the absolutely perfect for the ranch style life with some additional comforts. We had no problems locating the property with the directions provided. This will definitely not be our last visit!
