There's a gas station 1 mile away and 10 minutes to Walmart, restaurants, outlets and shopping centers. Balls Bluff historical park and other Civil War points of interest are close by and Harper's Ferry, WV is about 40 minutes from here. Lots of local cuisine and pubs. Flea markets and BBQ on the roadside and for those who dare the casino and horse racing!!!... Each site has a picnic table, firepit and pavilion canopies for creature comfort. We do have firewood available along with boat rentals. All boat rentals and firewood are cash only. Every year in the spring there are 4-6 Thoroughbred foals born that eventually will become racehorses. In the daytime, when you are not sitting around your campfire, you can walk the fence lines and visit with the Mares and Foals or just watch them frolic in the fields. Hint!
