Spectacular rock formations in a park that's easy to get to and easy to hike—what's not to love?
Classic films like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid have been filmed at this state park and it's easy to see why with it's picture perfect scenery!

(The name comes from a couple of Mormon pioneers.) 38 miles of hiking trails deliver amazing photo ops. While you're hiking, keep your eyes out for some of the rare species found here. There are Gila monsters, desert tortoises, and peregrine falcons.
Go rock scrambling on the petrified sand dunes (cool!), or sign up with the park rangers for hikes through the lava tubes or moonlit night hikes that promise epic stargazing.
