Sea Rim State Park
Snuggle close to the beach or revel in a marshy wilderness in southeastern Texas.
Visit a Texas state park that combines beaches and swamps along the Gulf coast. This nice park south of Port Arthur features 5.2 miles of beachfront shores.
Behind the beach is 4,000 acres of marshlands home to abundant wildlife. Camp at this remote location to truly get away from modern life for a while.
Hike on Gambusia Nature Trail, a boardwalk that takes you through the marshes. Binoculars are a must. Keep an eye out for turtles on logs, wading water birds, and maybe some alligators. Gators usually avoid humans, but please be safe.

A campground features 15 campsites with electricity. Pick an ocean view among 75 rustic sites along the beach. One floating rustic site is 2 miles from the boat ramp.
