Though Piping Plover Campground is tucked away in the corner of Texas near the marshes, it’s anything but backcountry. Campsites are equipped with electric (30/50) and water hook-ups, a picnic table, outdoor grill, tent pad, and lantern post. With a full set-up at your campsite, it’s onto the next best thing: saying hello to your watery surroundings! For a more down-to-earth camping experience on the beach, definitely check out West and East Beach Primitive Campgrounds.
