Being situated so close to the city-center means that food delivery is just a click away, and running out for that last-minute necessity is a breeze. This is a unique opportunity to get “off the grid” without having to make those ‘off the grid’ sacrifices. At Camp Moondog, our philosophy is to offer a carefree, clean, natural environment for a relaxing camping vacation experience. We will be happy to use our ATV's to assist with getting your supplies to any of the campsites--just shoot us a message on the app if you need help! The property used to hold Glass Feather Studio, which was a glass art studio and is now Glass Feather Lodge. The mountain view from the indoor porch is amazing and there are several places to relax and enjoy this view. There is an outdoor shower and bike wash station behind the lodge and an indoor bathroom off the porch. The lower Pond area of the property has port-a-johns near the pond, and outdoor showers may be available as well in 2023 . Each campsite has its own fire pit so you are welcome to bring firewood and enjoy cooking out or having smores by the fire. Escape from the bustling city to 1,540 acres of parkland near downtown Greenville. This state park was one of 16 built in SC by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the Great Depression. The heritage is beautifully preserved through exhibits in the renovated bathhouse, a.k.a. Park Center.

Four lakes and canoe, kayak and pedal boat rentals ensure easy water access. Find prime catfish and bass fishing at the 8-acre Lake Placid. Hike in 2 miles to savor the remote 15-acre Reservoir #3 lake. A designated swimming area offers cool refreshment in sultry summer months.

The 15-mile trail system at Paris Mountain includes popular multi-use and hiking-only trails. Campers find five trailside campsites around the North Lake Trail Loop.

39 paved campsites, 13 of which offer tent pads, offer water and electrical hookups. Some sites accommodate RVs, and all sites are close to restrooms with blissfully hot showers.
