Dan and Dani gave us a tour of their property, we got to learn a lot about their unique growing techniques, which was a huge highlight of our stay :)Photo 1 of 6 of Stone Creek Farm

Situated on 36 acres, this working farm is 2 miles West of Taylors Falls. Dan bought this property with the intention of growing stone fruits (plums, peaches, apricots and cherries) using sustainable and organic practices because health and wellness matter to them! They are still in the process of improving their property. Many of the building on the property were in poor condition, including the old barn foundation which is now one of Dan and Danielle favorite places to keep cool in the summer. After they had excavated all the debris (which took years) they were able to transform it with gardens and fire pit for all to enjoy. They love sharing what they have been blessed with! They hope you enjoy their place as much as they do! Feel free to ask them to show you around or even get your hands dirty with them as they plant or harvest.

It is 700 yards from where you will park so be prepared for the hike out there - bring your mountain bike to travel out there if you want. :) Then take it out on the Woolly Bike Trails, Stowers 7 Lakes Trail or The Gandy Dancer after you get checked in. With the St. Croix River and several state parks to hike, rock climb, canoe or kayak there's no shortage of outdoor activities! We had a lovely trip and stay at Cherry Bomb. Dan is kind and a wonderful honest host with his hands busy on his farm. He opens his property up with love and respect for his visitors! We appreciated the accurate description, the fast response times, and the quiet oasis he let us borrow for the weekend. Dan's recommendations for the area were a hit as well! Thank you so much!
