Alongside raising thirteen children, we take pride in cultivating u-pick blueberries, raspberries, apples, and pumpkins, as well as raising meat poultry and laying hens. Our farm also boasts a variety of livestock, including cows for dairy products and beef, egg-layers, and sheep. Notably, our children are actively involved in caring for and utilizing riding and driving horses. Located not too far from the North Woods, the Allagash, Mt. Kathadin, and numerous lakes, we are surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. Please note: No generators except for medical purposes, upon pre-approval. No unattended outdoor lights. There is plenty to do in this area, we have two golf courses close by. Numerous Club ATV Trails, fishing, hunting, boating, kayaking, hiking and more. The north entrance of Baxter State Park is about an hour away and you can be on the pristine Maine seacoast in about 3 hours. Our private RV site is a 50 Amp full hookup including sewer. Our grounds are maintained and we normally cut the grass once a week. We provide a picnic table and a fire pit. Fire wood can be purchased on site. We will be testing our water later this year…until the results come back we state the water is ‘NONPOTABLE” There is a pet exercise area provided which is at least 75ft from dwellings and a large open field that is closely mowed if you wish to play fetch with your pet. Directly across the road from the RV site is the upper Bison (Buffalo) field. On site there is also a nail salon that specialize in Pedi, Mani and Thai Nail Art. Book early as her appointment book stays full particularly during the summer months. ATV & SXS. We are within a couple miles of the Major trail heads. Smyrna Town Office is approximately 2 miles away if you need to register your machines Hunting, Fishing, ATV and Boating Licenses/Registration can be obtained at the Smyrna Town Office.

It is located along the extensive ATV road system and is completely ATV accessible. It is at the end of a 4 mile gravel road ( which can be rough at times). There is a brook on the property and maintained walking trails. During berry season there are unlimited amounts of berries to pick. This is a sanctuary for wildlife so while pets are allowed, prior permission is needed for the protection of the wildlife that lives here. Off leash pets are at your own risk and please pick up after pets when able. We share the property with moose, bear, deer, fisher cats, coyote, lynx and bobcats. We take the welfare of the wildlife on our property seriously and there is absolutely no hunting or baiting allowed. The cabin is outfitted with solar electricity which is limited but can provide lights, outlets and charging for devices There is propane heat in the camp and a portable outdoor stove camping stove top. Absolutely no candles or smoking in the cabin and all outdoor fires should be limited to the fire pit and fully extinguished after use. There is no wifi at the cabin but most people have good cell signal. There are trail cameras on the property.

Camper Sites were level and open, easy to get the camper in and landed. 30 Amp Power was excellent, water is provided but based on outside cold temps and low pressure, I would fill your on board freshwater tank for better results. Free firewood but bring dry kindling to start your fires with. Great Dump Station to empty your camper prior to departing. Outstanding experience if you are looking to hunt in the North Maine Woods, and you want the finer amenities with your camper rather than boondocking, please give them a look, it is worth it.

He was generous with his time and helped us as we were motorcycle camping and needed to repair a bent rim. He also owns the general store next store which is very well stocked.

This property is very clean, well maintained and peaceful. There is easy access to numerous well marked ATV, snow mobile and hiking trails. The owners are super helpful and have thought of everything that will make the off grid camping experience a memorable one. Everyone in the surrounding area is friendly and willing to share their knowledge of the region. If you’re looking to spend a few quiet days away from it all, this is the camp to visit. Very quiet area & we never heard any other visitors or residents around us the entire stay. Expect rustic conditions, wildlife, & lots of shade. Very modern - running water from a mountain water well, lighting, propane stove & oven, a large kitchen counter, a kitchen table with four chairs, a super comfortable leather chair & ottoman, a jackknife sofa, a queen bed, & a set of bunk beds. Has a large Blackstone grill under cover. Chairs around the outside of the property. Owners supplied a large cooler. • Outdoor sink. Two large picnic tables. Typical outhouse, is very new & close to front door. State owned bathroom just a few minute drive. • Large outdoor shower with HOT water near front door. • All amenities very easy to use just follow the directions. • Mountain trails for hikes for every level of hiker with signs of wildlife. • Nearby - Produce stand called Arnold’s Farm Market nearby. • Fort Kent –Canadian Border Crossing & the Swamp Bucket restaurant. • Presque Isle - coffee shops & The Riverside Inn Restaurant. • Caribou – go to “Sleepers” for clothing & the bowling alley. Both the river sites are lovely and private, especially the smaller of the two, which to access one had to pass by the larger. There was some earth-moving noise (excavators and dump trucks) early in the morning, but this seems to have just been bad timing on my part (planned work that I wasn’t aware of until I’d set up for the night). That said, it’s a lovely spot and a friendly and responsive host.
