Welcome to our Twin Brook Farm Homestead !!  We are situated in the Shadows of Mt. Katahdin, in Northern Penobscot County in the Town Of Mount Chase.  The property consists of 160 acres, comprised mostly of woods and smaller fields. Since purchasing the idle farm back in 2005, we have worked tirelessly at restoring the land back to a working family farm that it once was.  The farm now has open fields, large garden beds and currently grows thousand of heads of garlic.  It is not uncommon to find chickens and other livestock roaming around the homestead as well. We are just minutes from Baxter State Park and the Katahdin Woods and Water National Monument.  Great fishing, hiking, canoeing, biking and other recreational  opportunities lie at our doorstep.  We offer fantastic views right from our property. Come visit, relax, explore the farm and surrounding Northern Maine Area.  Our Sunrise and Sunsets are second to none !!!

RV in the Shadows of Mt. Katahdin
Open view with a stunning backdrop
We had a great stay with Chris, he has a big plot of land surrounded by trees and views of the mountains in the background. We were met with stunning views of the stars, due to little light pollution. The hip camp is only a couple of miles from Mt. Chase, a steep hiking trail with sublime views of the mountains, trees, and crevices of water tucked in the valleys. He also lives a couple hours away from Mt. Katahdin and the drive there is beautiful. Chris is a ranger and had useful recommendations. He also loaded us up with campfire wood and came down to say hello and make sure we had what we needed. The space is private and you cannot see his house unless you walk up the hill from the camping area on his land. If you’re looking for some solitude and nature therapy, this your place!
