Since Lake Cumberland bears the motto "Kentucky Loud and Proud," you know this park will be anything but boring. Whether you're looking to catch air on your water skis or rev up your favorite motor boat, this is the place to let loose and really show your wild side. Walk down the docks of the full-service marina and take advantage of the pontoon rentals, or whitewater raft down rapids only five miles away from the campsite. Lake Cumberland also boasts a healthy nightlife, where several bars and restaurants have some tasty brews on tap. Come at the right time of year and you may even get in on music festivals, local art exhibits, and a performing arts series. There's a water park and golf course just off the way, as well, so we're thinkin' you may need more than a week to get in on all the fun.
