In my 2 years of searching I knew exactly what I wanted and this was the property. It had a private lake with fish. A solar cabin with a flush toilet and hot shower. The cabins 8 foot windows faced West for magical sunsets and view of the storms that roll in from the coast. It was beautifully treed with just the right amount of open meadow and forest with Hemlock, Ponderosa pine, and Larch. How could this property be sold? I tried to let it go but thought about it for the next year. The county-maintained road up to the 22 acre property runs through a beautiful canyon (McLaughlin Canyon). Deer, eagles, coyotes, and more wildlife (there are rattlesnakes in the area as well). Wide views all around - to the West are the Cascades. Lots of space to hike, and climbing opportunities as well. We are developing gardens and a nursery for Chinese medicinal plants, starting this year (2018). Your host can introduce you to Chinese herbal medicine. We have a nice dog.
