Located on Yew Street, Port Ludlow, Washington nestled in the "quiet" Paradise Bay community. Due to narrow entry off Paradise Bay Road, the maximum recommended length is 35’ for Motorhomes and 30’ for Travel Trailers.
Nice views of Puget Sound/Hood Canal where cruise ships, cargo ships, and naval vessels often pass. On a clear day, you will see Mount Baker.

Enjoy the private community beach, picnic area and boat ramp (for smaller vessels), just a 4-minute walk from campsite. Look for sea lions, seals and Orcas (sometimes).

Eastern part of Olympic Peninsula has many great trails in the Olympic National Park (35 minutes away). Also, local trails in Port Ludlow less than 10 minutes away.
Easy access to Sequim, John Wayne Marina (with large boat launch), Port Angeles and Port Townsend as well as the Olympic Discovery Trail for a great bike riding adventure

We are just 45 minutes away from the Olympic National Park and 20 minutes from Port Townsend. We are a working farm with gardens, chickens, sheep, a llama named Cue and a few very friendly farm cats. During the day, you will likely see us working on the land or around the property - we live with other land mates who also work on the farm. Feel free to explore around the farm and enjoy the animals and the gardens - we just ask that you stay on the paths and keep all gates closed to help protect the plants and animals!
The site has a 30 amp hook up (as well as a 50A hookup option or 20A outlet for any other appliances that may need to be plugged in). When you come down the driveway, you take a right at the first fork to drive into the large graveled parking lot, where you will find the designated parking spot against the North side of the barn.
There is (1) sani-can unit (toilet) that is serviced monthly available for use, and a sink for handwashing and an additional fresh water supply. The metal trash bin next to the sani-can is for your use - please do not use any other trash cans in or outside of the barn as these are for events only.
You will also find a wood firepit and chairs available for use right beside your site. Please bring your own wood to, or feel free to purchase wood through this listing. Also feel free to enjoy the covered seating area alongside the west side of the barn, overlooking the animals, gardens and expansive valley view!
We are also situated less than a 10-minute drive away from an easily accessible dump station in Port Ludlow, on the way to the Hood Canal Bridge.
Please understand that we are a working farm that hosts businesses and other visitors. You will most likely see us and perhaps other guests during your stay! Our home is further down the driveway (to the south of the barn) and we have land mates and an Airbnb unit attached to our house. You will likely hear the sounds of farm projects, animals and people at times. We also live off the busy Beaver Valley road, making us an ideal location for access to the greater Peninsula, but also please know that you may notice road noise at times during your stay with us. We are not in a remote area that is completely silent - we are a bustling farm in a happening place. If you are seeking somewhere very remote without a lot of noise, projects or people coming and going, our site is sadly not for you. This is just the reality of our situation and we always want to make sure our guests know what to expect. That said, this also makes for an exciting, immersive experience if you're looking to connect with the bustling farming and food culture in our region! We also often have products fresh off the farm for your enjoyment while you're here or to take with you on the rest of your travels, and we have lots of local recommendations for food and activities during your stay!

At 180 acres Glendale Farm in Chimacum, in operation since 1857, is one of the largest single agricultural properties remaining in Jefferson County. The farm includes prime agricultural soils, over half a mile of East Chimacum Creek, and forested areas. The easement protects a buffer zone for salmon and wildlife habitat along the east fork of Chimacum Creek and protects the agricultural and forestry values of the property forever. Jefferson Land Trust and collaborative partners purchased the easement to Insure Glendale farm maintains agricultural practices and wildlife habitat forever! Please be aware this is a working farm with poultry, livestock, and the use of farm equipment providing a great experience for farm life.
Glendale farm experienced a devestating loss in 2022, the primary residence burned down, and since then has been going through an extensive cleanup from an extreme hoarding situation. We recommend using shoes at all times as we are still in the process of combing the grounds for glass and possible sharp objects. You can expect to see old farm equipment, some derelict Rvs, and material debris which we are raising funds to remove. Please be patient with us as we continue to improve the site with future showers, a comunal kitchen, and improved landscaping.

Cardinal's Camp is an ideal spot for small RV's and campers to come and relax in a country setting. We have a gorgeous covered area and deck with propane mini BBQ and bench seating, full water and 30 amp power hook-ups, and beautiful views of the surrounding farm fields and a one hundred year old barn (PLEASE don't access the barn area or fields, it's not ours but the views are great!)
Lots to do around the area, including Finnriver Cidery, hiking in the Olympic Mountains and the Victorian town of Port Townsend. We now have decent wifi you can use, so option to
come and work remotely! (Unfortunately we don't have tons of space for kids or dogs to run around, but definitely plenty of nice grassy area to set up tents, yard games and a campfire).
Our site includes wifi, picnic table, and potable water. Campfires (outside of a burn ban) and pets permitted! However we do have free-roaming chickens (ask us about fresh eggs!) so leashed up or chicken-friendly dogs please.
Guests love staying here: "Gorgeous spot to sit, relax and take in the sunset across the farm fields before tucking in. We visited for one night with a 10.5’ tall camper van rented from Cabana, which fit easily under the shelter with plenty of clearance. The shelter itself is a great spot to get outside and eat a meal, and the rocking chairs in the yard were chill too! An occasional loud truck will go by on the nearby road, but not bad. We slept fine. Walk to Finnriver Cidery for dinner (yum)"

Feel any stress or anxiety you might have escape you, as you make your way down into this little river valley. As you glance over to you're right, you see the constant flow of crystal clear water cutting its way through the forest. Continuing your descent into this sanctuary among the trees, your path opens up into a clearing surrounded by a stand of towering evergreens. This camp above the river serves as your perfect hideaway where you can rest and recharge.
On this, a little over two acres of riverfront land, there is a circle drive that loops along the edge of a clearing, giving access to 3 unique sites. These sites are tucked away with a comfortable amount of wooded space between them. At the center of this loop, there is a shared space to enjoy if you choose. This can be a nice space to gather for a meal at the large picnic table or have a game in the grass. There is also a large firepit that can be inviting to stand around and enjoy each other's company.
The river is what really makes this property special. You will have access to a private stretch of river, just steps away from the camp area. A short trail takes you down to a level landing just above the river with plenty of space to gather. A few more steps down and you can dip your feet in the cool water that has made its way down from the Olympic Mountains.
Each site is equipped with its own parking spot, firepit, and level areas for a tent or two. Besides the river, there is no running water or other utilities. There is access to a portable restroom that is a short distance from the campsites. There is additional parking near the entrance if you have a second vehicle, or if you have a small camper trailer to leave at the site and need a place to park your vehicle.
Another major benefit to this property is its general location. Stay and enjoy the camp to its fullest or use it as your home base and go explore the Olympic Peninsula. There are multiple hiking trails nearby in the Olympic National Park and nearby State Parks. You can also find yourself at multiple beaches that are only minutes away. If you enjoy a swim, there are also multiple lakes within minutes of the property.
The small town of Quilcene is just a few minutes away and offers a couple little stores, a gas station, restaurants, a laundromat, post office, and a National Park Ranger Station. The historic town of Port Townsend is approximately 30 minutes away. You can also enjoy the incredibly beautiful drive down Highway 101 as it navigates along the edge of the Hood Canal.

Dun Tun is a 5-acre working smallhold we are assisting back to a healthier level. We have animals, plants and people contributing to improving the soil and biodiversity. You may see our meadows high and full of wildflowers or cut short for our animal's benefit. Both make for excellent views from our campsites.
2026 update! We welcome Tio and Rosie, our two new livestock guardian dogs, to the DunTun this year. They are still puppies and learning their jobs so please keep all pets on leashes and away from livestock areas. Our sheep, goats and dogs are on pasture during the day, inside electric fences, so please use caution and keep your pets and kids safe. We have also installed a perimeter fence around the back four acres but please continue to keep pets on leash for their safety and the safety of our animals.
We built a new shelter for the compartment toilet for added privacy and weather protection in 2024!
We are expanding our farm stand, in addition to eggs you will now find seasonal produce, firewood when fires are permitted and souvenirs made by folks who live and work on our farm.
Both campsites are unimproved spots in our future silvopasture food forest. Located on the "back four" acres of our property, they're surrounded by trees and seclusion. We back to a small airport and are near a main road and you will probably hear traffic. Both campsites have trees and space protecting them from views of people or development. We improved our road in 2022 so bring your vehicle with no worries.
We're just outside of the busy part of Port Townsend and close to farms, beaches and historic sites. Go into town for festivals, restaurants and the farmer's market. Chimacum, just two miles away, has several nice restaurants, breweries and farms that offer tours. We're two miles from restaurants, hardware stores and a grocery store in Port Hadlock.
We're just 45 minutes from Olympic National Park and 2 hours to the Olympic Peninsula Coast so we're a great stop over.

Weekend Trip to Ravens Ridge
We had such an amazing stay in the Big Dipper with our large dog and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The hosts truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with anything we could need. They were incredibly welcoming and it felt so safe staying there.
The outdoor kitchen was one of our favorite parts, it had all the utensils and supplies we needed and was so thoughtfully put together. The bathrooms were also exceptionally clean and well maintained, which made the whole stay even more comfortable. Overall, it was such a peaceful and perfect getaway, and we genuinely have zero complaints.

Beautiful property. The hosts were very thoughtful and offered me site one although I'd reserved site four, which turned out great because it's a bit harder driving up to site four and while it's beautiful, it's definitely smaller. Site one was great, fire pit, hammock, picnic table, surrounded by trees and a trail to the river. My dog had fun splashing around down there. We had a great evening but come the middle of the night realized it was a bit cold for tent camping, so we didn't stay the night. But after a hike the next morning we came back to relax by a fire and enjoyed the fresh apple cider and s'mores kit from the farm stand. Hope to come back when it's warmer!

The place was amazing! The river is very tranquil, portapotty was very clean, and the space was well maintained. We ended up having the whole place to ourselves which was really nice. The sites are far enough away that if there was people it would have been okay, but if you have enough people and want a totally private spot in the woods, book both campsite 2 and 3. Close enough to civilization so it wasn’t a hassle to get in and out, and close to Olympic for fun hikes (walker and Townsend is what we did). Host was responsive and ready for any issues (although we had none) will definitely be trying to come back in the future! You can really hear the river right at the campsite, and there is a nice path down so you can even take a dip although it isn’t too deep, it’s very refreshing. Our yellow lab also loved it. I will say you can hear cars go by the road, but it isn’t enough to ruin the atmosphere, it’s a quieter road, and I think it’s a 25 zone. You’re set back off the road enough where it’s not an issue just worth mentioning. We easily fit 4 people (2 tents) on one side of campsite 2.

Well maintained spot to camp. A little traffic noise but otherwise it was very pleasant. Morning sun and afternoon shade. I was able to fine a level spot at campsite 2 which the host recommended. Will definitely be back!

A little slice of heaven. As you drive over the wooden bridge and up the moss lined road, you roll right into this tucked away spot surrounded by these incredible trees.
The campsite had an orange shelter over the picnic table and a great fire pit that was perfect for the evening. The site itself was really spacious. We had the camper van and the tent set up and still had plenty of room to spread out.
There’s an awesome swing on site and a hammock tucked into the woods, which my partner claimed immediately and was out within minutes.
The whole place feels quiet, clean, and really well taken care of.
There’s a wash station and a porta potty, which is always appreciated when you’re out in a spot like this.
Then there’s the creek. A short walk through the woods takes you down to this beautiful spot with lush forest all around. I do wish we had gotten there earlier to spend more time at the water.
One night just wasn’t enough for a place like this. We’ll definitely be back for longer next time.

Weekend Trip to Cedar+Fern
Jill was such a wonderful host! We had such a lovely time on the property, and were just a short drive away from Port Townsend for some brewery hopping with the dogs on a rainy day. The short walk to the river was lovely and the port o potty was very well kept! We were the only ones on the property for the weekend, so no concerns of noise from other campers and the sound of the river was the most wonderful white noise at night. We had such a lovely time and would recommend it to anyone!

Great location to explore the area including Port Hadlock, Port Townsend, Discovery Bay, Sequim, Dungeoness Spit as we searched for a retirement location. The site is nestled among other homes but we hardly saw anyone and definitely didn’t hear anyone. We had 3 dogs with us and it was nice to not have other dogs barking and agitating them. We were able to relax and enjoy the view. The site was well kept and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

It’s a nice secluded camping site, the kids loved feeding the goats and I personally enjoyed sleeping with the frog croaks from the pond nearby. Would definitely stay here again. Has a fire pit and a propane grill in case of burn ban.

Beautiful property! They’ve got a nice lil washing station for dishes, as well as a very clean porta potty. Short little walk from site 1 down to the river. So much gorgeous moss to stare at. I hope to come back here during the warmer months! Would recommend :)
