Description

Located on the Natchaug Trail, General Lyons Campsite is a backpack campsite named for Nathaniel Lyon, a Union general in the Civil War. The site is open-year round and it is advised to pack a tent and your own supply of H2O. Parking is located nearby in Nathaniel Lyon Memorial State Park and the Ranger HQ is about half a mile south.
