Description

Lower Chiquito Campground offers cozy sites along Chiquito Creek. Nestle into the shade of cedar and pine, listen to the sound of a mountain stream, and grill up some fresh caught fish. Despite its name “Chiquito” (little) campground offers big rewards.

Back in the late 70"s early 80's at least once sometimes twice a year my parents drove 8 hours to camp there. We used to catch a whole lot of crawdads, daddy would fish, I would try...lol standing over that bridge looking at the trout swimming under, One night a bear tried to roll our ice chest away, lol, he couldnt get that ice chest open. damn good memories. Our family camped there till we moved out of state. Beautiful little camp ground.
