It’s a lake, but not your ordinary, run-of-the-mill lake, mind you. This one has that certain je ne sais quoi that only bodies of water with a flair for drama possess. It reflects the heavens, the stars, and, most importantly, your own sense of adventure. This idyllic spot is tucked away, rather conveniently, on 100 private acres of nature's own botanical garden, tower oaks, pines, and cedars, Sprawling fields of wild flowers all primped and preened as if anticipating the arrival of royalty. Or perhaps they're always like this, in a state of perpetual readiness for impromptu beauty contests with butterflies. A veritable flower forest awaiting your company. Your dwelling, and those of your merry band, are all arranged in a semi-circle around a fire pit. The fire pit, the heart of your campsite, beating with warmth and the promise of toasted marshmallows. It's the hub of storytelling and camaraderie, where the light flickers and dances on faces full of anticipation for the tales to be spun. Lake Ridge Ranch

SUPER AWESOME PRIVATE LAKE!

This place is Great! My family and I wanted a place to stay and hang out for a couple of days where we could all enjoy the water together and maybe have a spot to BBQ. This place has it all! There is a small ropes course for the kids, a dock with mulitlple boats for use including life jackets for the kids, fishing rod and tackle to catch the large mouth bass, and a sweet picnic area where you can cook and hang out. My family and I would definitely reccomend this place!

Lake Ridge Ranch

Group camping on the lake!

We took a group of 5 families. 4 trailers and one tent camper. We all had kids and dogs and everyone had a great time. The outdoor kitchen Jacob built was not only crafty but very convenient for a large groups. And the shower, although not quite finished provided hot water for us to shower. The lake is great for fishing and kayaking. The kids caught plenty of fish on the paddle boat. We brought a giant inflatable that we anchored out in the center of the lake and that was a nice retreat from the heat. Although swimming was a little difficult because of the grass and algae, it was fine in the center of the lake. The road to the camp ground was cleaned up nicely but in some parts it was a little narrow for our trailer. We got in and out with no issues though. Jacob is a hard worker and constantly working to improve the campground, even while we were there he brought in some shade. He hung up hammocks for the kids. And made room for the trailers by removing some tree limbs. He also carved some really cool owls and turtles out of bark from the trees. I would recommend camping here if you have a smaller trailer and maybe limit to no more than 3 in a group. I can’t wait to see how it changes over the next year!

Lake Ridge Ranch

Perfect 4th of July Weekend

Our group of 12 had an amazing stay at Summer and Jacob's property. The site had everything we needed (and things we didn't even know we needed) for a memorable, relaxing weekend. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of tables to gather for meals. A sink with running water (that Jacob had set up for us just a couple days before we got there!). The private lake was perfect to cool off in and was supplied with kayaks, a paddle boat, and a canoe so we could really make the most of the water. Communication was outstanding and the hosts are lovely people. I'm already thinking about when I can come back!

Lake Ridge Ranch

A lake to ourselves!

We had an amazing camping trip at Lake Ridge Ranch. Our host greeted us as upon arrival and toured us around the campsite and property. We had plenty of beautiful, quiet space all to ourselves for the weekend. The lake was a huge highlight. Great for canoeing, paddle boarding, watching sunset, and our dog had the best time swimming and playing. The property was equipped with plenty of lake toys, grills, port-a-potty, picnic tables, and chairs to host a large gathering. If we needed anything, our hosts were very responsive and incredibly hospitable. There were lots of trails to take the dirt bike or hike along and admire all the beautiful wildflowers. We would definitely recommend this space to friends and I’m sure we will be back next time we’re in the area. Thanks so much for a great trip!
