If you camp in Palisades Reservoir, be prepared for stunning scenery in every direction. The reservoir is nestled in a scenic valley surrounded by forested hillsides and views of snowcapped mountains in the distance. Pitch your tent near the shoreline and spend your days swimming, kayaking, and fishing for Yellowstone cutthroat trout, Brown trout, lake trout, and Kokanee. You can hike along the 70 miles of reservoir shoreline or higher up into the rugged mountains for great views!

This is a beautiful place, with great views. Close to Alpine, Wy. Boating on the lake, hiking, fishing. Be aware that early in the summer, there a TON of mosquitoes. Especially if it's been very rainy.
