We LOVED staying here! What a perfect location for access to Zion. This house is outfitted with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is amazing and we enjoyed cooking and hanging out. The backyard is adorable and includes an awesome hot tub. The art and decor around the house is so beautiful and comfy -- loved the music system as well. This is THE place to stay near Zion. Thank you Scott and Ken for everything!
We loved this cabin! What an amazing property and location. The cabin is cozy and extremely well appointed with everything you could need for cooking and relaxing. We loved the super comfortable memory foam bed and our baby slept cozy too with the crackly wood fire. Love the bluetooth speaker and wifi too! Jenny was super nice giving us some recommendations for the area and we had fun fishing just a mile from the cabin.
We loved staying with Alice at Thunder Heart Horst Sanctuary! We stopped off her after a trip in the San Juan mountains and the cabin was so relaxing. I loved meeting all of Alice's horses and hearing about her life. Stay her if you can and experience an awesome corner of Colorado.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Weston Hut! We skied up starting around 9am and arrived a little before noon. The views from up there are incredible - huge panoramic windows - and the hut could not be more cozy or well outfitted. The two woods stoves crank out the heat and we loved cooking on the one in the kitchen. Due to the wind the skiing was a little slim but I had the time of my life ready and eating soup by the huge picture windows.
The cabin was in a very pretty setting. We enjoyed the very nice separate kitchen and our host Nicole was very friendly and told us a lot about the some great places to see in the area. The horses and 2 dogs were also sweet! I would definitely return for another stay!!
We had the most fantastic stay at Geromino Ranch! We had wanted to fish on the Weber river and their location could not have been more perfect - they are only 2 min away! Amber and Lee met us when we arrived and give us all the information we needed to settle in and enjoy our evening. We took full advantage of the amazing deck. We watched the sunset and cooked up some dinner while enjoying the fire pit. We slept great on their fantastic bed with real bedding and felt cozy and safe. Their onsite toilet is super easy to access and super clean! We absolutely recommend this location and loved meeting Amber and Lee - amazing folks with extraordinary hospitality! Definitely come check out this camp :)
We found the Lost Horse Ranch because it was super close to the Strawberry river. The location could not be better to access the strawberry and you can drive 15 min in the morning and start fishing! So much fun. The location was definitely off the beaten path and future guests might want to be aware of dirt roads depending on your car. We arrived later in the day and Edward had left for work so we were greeted by neighbor Andrew who was super friendly and showed us around. You can use the indoor fridge and bathroom as you wish and there is a fun cabin with a pool table! The tipi itself is set away from the house with lovely sunset views. We do wish we had known that the tipi was bare dirt floor as it was *very* dusty back there and we had some trouble sleeping due to this. There are some simple mattresses in the tipi but they do not have coverings & are also quite dusty. We were able to sleep but were woken up at two different times by a group of three neighbor dogs who came to the door of the tipi growling and barking for about 10 min at a time. Overall we had a good stay but think that the camp could benefit from love and attention.
