This was our third time camping here and we just love it more and more each time we come out. I've now stayed in three different campsites on the grounds and each one has its own personality and charm - and you can't really go wrong with any of them. Johnnie and Sheri Lane are the sweetest, kindest people and I'm so grateful they share their beautiful piece of the Texas countryside with us. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful, beautiful, safe and charming campsite close to some of the best hiking, biking and scenic trails around, this is the place for you.

I could not have been happier with this experience. Kristi has obviously put so much love and care into creating this amazing, unique space and I felt very lucky to have been able to spend some time in it. Kristi was super polite, friendly and respectful of privacy. The space matched perfectly with the description and pictures. It's really a great quirky, fun alternative to a hotel or a perfect place to get away for a day or two to write and read. Overall, it was great and I highly recommend.

I could not have been happier with the campsite, it really exceeded my expectations. There were plenty of camping spots to choose from, all of them offering a little something different. Mine had two really nice hammocks, a fire pit with wood, a charcoal grill with charcoal, a table with two chairs and running water. The location is great, so close to Hamilton Pool, Reimers Ranch, and Pedernales. Johnnie and Sheri were perfect hosts. They were very helpful, super responsive and really friendly. I can't wait to go back.
