Lovely area of oregon - we enjoyed listening to the birds on the pond and seeing the trees and clover flowers. The portapotty was quite far from our site, and the kitchen setup/water seemed like it was part of someone else’s site, but the communal bbq, fire pit, picnic table, and Adirondack chairs were very nice. It’s a no-frills campsite, so you may have to pay for any extras, like an extra car, but it’s close enough to town that you can pick up forgotten supplies. Note that the directions say to stop by the blue house, but they’ve painted it brown.
This was such a fun site! Not only were we surrounded by beautiful rolling hills, we also got to enjoy fresh eggs and veggies from their garden, and learn about the dozens of sustainability projects they are working on. Jim let us pick our favorite spot based on tree coverage and shade, and let us use a big table and fire pit. We drove to Temecula wineries within twenty minutes, and could get groceries in Hemet 15 minutes away. Definitely recommend!
