Rivers Edge Hide Out
in Rivers Edge Hide Out, OregonA great trip away!
We loved tent camping at Randyâs! There were ample spots to choose from, but we were right by the river so we could hear it babbling to us each night. The fire pit area right by the water access is very nice and convenient. There were trails available for exploring. It was a great place to get away and we would love to come back. The only drawback were the yellow jackets, who decided to join us on our last day. Just take a trap, or be aware. :) A wonderful hipcamp!!
TheLedge
in Dark Hollow Park, AlabamaLoved it and canât wait to return!
We stayed at The Ledge (site 2). Itâs just off the road, but it feels very secluded. The set up is perfect - if camping with another group, thereâs a separate area so each has privacy. The view canât be described - its stunning. Danny stopped by Saturday morning to make sure we had everything we needed, shared his ideas for improvement, and told us about the property. There are well marked trails, waterfalls - a testament to how much he cares for it. The privey is a wonderful addition (with a beautiful view!), as was potable water across the street, and on site trash cans. We fell in love with the spot and canât wait to return.
180 Degrees of Heaven
in Fort Bluff Camp Site, AlabamaRise Up Rooted Farm and River Camp
in Rise Up Rooted Farm and River Camp, North CarolinaAmazing space!! Tom was a great host! Tons of useful information about the property and nearby hikes, restaurants, etc. He had a campfire already going for us upon arrival (around 7:45 pm on a Friday), chairs set up, a comfy hammock, and hula hoops! We set up the tent between the fire ring and river and slept like the dead to the sound of the water. Great swimming and relaxing - can't wait to visit again!
Site 2 - Tranquil Creekside Camp
in Duck Dance Farm, North CarolinaThe hosts were insanely friendly! We loved seeing the ducks and geese and were so excited to purchase duck eggs upon our departure! We stayed at campsite #2. It was everything I love about camping - great space for the fire and tent, swinging in the hammock listening to the nearby waterfall, shady and wonderful. The site was perfectly secluded, but still close enough to the car if you need to make more than one trip. We can't wait to go back - the hosts and site were perfect!
