Hayseed Farm

in Tiny House on the Potomac, West VirginiaComfortable riverside forested hut
Just as advertised, quiet , good electric utilities.
A nice get-away retreat. Abscence of TV and radio contribute to the ambiance. Brochures about the local area show host's thoughtful intent to make guests happy. Was clean. Windows could be washed, screen door is dingy, and an easy chair would help. Try it and when you return to plumbing, you will APPRECIATE it.

(Dispersed site)
I couldn't find this place. Coordinates, if entered per Ann's instructions put you some place on the other side of the world! Caution, host does NOT respond to either email telephone call, texting. The mailbox is reported as full.
Past trip
in Dawnbreaker Farms, North CarolinaBen & salem are accomodating.
Flat tent sites ate few, but grass is soft. Avoid noisy ducks/geese pen and stay upwind of the hogs. Very bucolic and pleasant place to camp. Quiet, (not too close to any big road.) Nice and open if you like that , or cozy up to a bush, or a farm building. Water availablel at multiple small animal sheds.
Past trip
in Starry Pines, South CarolinaMoon was peeking through the pines, which were beautiful. Mckenzie is welcoming and responsive to messages. Generously offered use of private bathroom. Much less road noise after dark. Not a huge property but truly a premium pine needle surface for tenting.
Past trip
in Dawnbreaker Farms, North CarolinaBen and salem were welcoming.
Flat tent sites are scarce. Sufficient privacy. Multiple water sources, with helpful guidance from Ben about ducks/geese being noisy sleeping companions. Stay upwind of the hogs.
I hope to stop there again on return trip...

Great wide open spaces, or lower level tenting areas. The giant Texas longhorns seem docile. The chickens are beautiful and happy pecking around everywhere.

Be sure to greet the two hogs 300 yards away and admire the frarless rooster. Goats ate there too.
