Enjoy privacy and open skies with some sweet nighttime noises and peace from the busy people world. Sleepy oak trees stand by the nearby chirping, piping pond. This is a great place to escape from the city to slow down and have a clear view of the night sky. An older house that we have yet to work on provides a bathroom and back porch to relax on. I teach yoga and if I am home and you are awake, you are welcome to join in on the morning routine on my back porch for fun (which is separated by some trees and a short path).

Only 30min from the city center, you've got a lot of options for exploring Columbia and nearby forests, city parks and restaurants. Although cell service is good, we are about a month away from setting up wifi here and the closet wifi option available right now would be the restaurants in Blythewood's center of town, about 8 minutes away.

Nice camping place, unfortunately the water in the little lake is not really suitable for swimming . McKenzie offered us to stay in one of the older buildings in case of raining!! Super nice of her!

Mckenzie and Starry Pines has been amazing for us! We are here in Blythewood SC seeing our daughter who lives in the area, (with a towable 25’ RV) and Mckenzie has been awesomely accommodating! The property is beautiful and the island/pond area in the back of the house is so serene and beautiful. We actually have extended our stay thru HipCamp thru the weekend. Love it here! We know where we will book in the future when we are back in town visiting our daughter.

The bridge over to the island. The pond/island area in the rear of the house.
