in CampCHERIshed-Camp for a Cause!, ColoradoMy young kids had an amazing time
I took my three young kiddos (9-7-4) and we had a blast. Host was awesome. Location was perfect. The highlights were: Making Sâmores at the fire ring nestled in the rocks, surprise visit by the little goats, the bouldering was AMAZING at the top, night was silent (except my snoring probably) and stars were incredible. This was a last minute spontaneous trip and exceeded our expectations. Iâll try and post some pictures but will be hard to decide which ones. Side note: AT&T seemed to have better coverage than Verizon.

in Rocky Mtn PikesPk Hikin'nBiking, ColoradoWe had an absolute blast here over Labor Day weekend. This was my first Hipcamp experience and it was awesome. We had a large group of adults and children from age 4 to age 9. We set up a little tent city just up and to the left of the cabin where we found the flattest terrain. The land directly around the cabin was perfect for our kiddos to explore freely as the fence line made a perfect boundary to keep them within easy ear shot but made them feel free as birds to explore the amazing rocks and creek beds and rock outcroppings.
After we set up camp we followed the road past the cabin in our 4x4s about as far as we could go and then ventured into the canyon to explore on foot.
Tip for finding the red entrance gate. You will encounter two cattle guards on your way in on CO 11 (High Park Ranch Road). Once you pass the second cattle guard look off to your left and you will see it within a few seconds. Tip: AT&T had a great signal here but the Verizon customers in the group were out of luck. FYI!
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun adventure. The owner is great. We'll be back!
