I just want to start by saying that I almost didnât write this review because this place is too awesome and I want it all to myself!
This is by far the best HipCamp campsite that I have been too and Iâve probably done anywhere from 20-30 of them in the past few years. Paige and Mike were super welcoming and helpful from the very beginning before we even made the reservation. I had a bunch of questions at the beginning because I was trying to set up a great camp trip for some buddies of mine who wanted to celebrate a 21st birthday out in the back country. Paige was quick to respond to every question I had and really helped with the whole process.
Upon arrival we were greeted by an army of adorable pups that were super nice and fun to run around with. Paige met us at the front of the property to show us all the amenities available which far surpassed my expectations. Just to name a few things; there were refrigerators, a bar, a grilling station, bags of ice, and a covered gathering area which is super important for when Mother Nature decides itâs time for a thunderstorm. After that we got a tour of the huge property and got to basically have our choice of campsite.
We chose a secluded area on top of a hill which had a great open area for tents as well as a perfectly wooded area for hammocks. We got the fire going and started to chill after getting camp all set up. Shortly after Paige helped us find a great hike to do which culminated in a challenging climb with an amazing view of the lake nearby.
At the end of the day whether your looking for a great backcountry experience or even a more Glamping vibe closer to the house this site does it all and does it well. I highly recommend this location to everyone regardless of what your looking for.

I have nothing but good things to say about this camping spot. My wife and I decided to go camping with another couple to celebrate our anniversaryâs which happened to line up pretty well and we happened across this camp site. Letâs just say this was one of the best if not the best anniversaries we have celebrated and thatâs 100% due to the hosts and the quality of this camping experience. You are right on the river surrounded by some of the most picture perfect nature you can find and on top of all that there is a pack of friendly goats that will come around a few times and hangout with you at the site. Not to mention the tour guide cats and dogs who were the nicest and most fun, they hiked with us and chilled with us by the fire all night long. On top of the amazing wildlife and scenery the hosts were the best! They literally treated us like family and helped us out with all the questions we had, and we had quite a few for them since we were traveling from so far away. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we had an amazing anniversary trip and we really felt like we were at home! We are booking even more trips to this campsite as soon as this review is completed.
Bottom line, if you love adorable goats and fun cats and dogs while camping right on the Klamath River this is the place. We highly recommend this location to anybody from families looking for a day on the river enjoying fun and games to the tent camper looking to be a bit closer to nature without having to deal with huge campgrounds and crowds of people.
