RV spot w/ view very private
in Welcome Bear Hill, OregonSite 4 of The Meadow Grove
in The Meadow Grove of Hands Full Farm, CaliforniaPrivate campsite, perfect location.
Very large and private field all to ourselves. Location is great, right off of US1 but was quiet and felt secluded. Huge mature trees abound on the property including 1 giant one right at the campsite. Valley Ford (N) and Tomales (S) are about 5 minutes away and have restaurants, general stores, and more. Will come back.
Site 8 - Maine Oceanfront Island Campsites

in La Lu Farm camp site, VermontBetween the Ponds
in The Draper Property, DelawareWe had a great trip at between the ponds. Michelle was great, easy communications, and the location is just beautiful - 10x better then you would get at a public campsite. Well worth the very small premium. This site is very private but conveniently located only about 5 minutes to Milford where there are a lot of restaurants, shopping, etc.
For our 'dog-friendly' trip itinerary we arrived, set up camp at the ponds, drove to dog-friendly Cape Henlopen SP about 45 minutes away, then had dinner in Milford, chatted around the campfire, and crashed in our tents. The next day we got up and out at 4 am to watch the sunrise at dog-friendly Assateague National Seashore and spent the day exploring there. Henlopen and Assateague are really great places to enjoy the beach without wall-to-wall crowds at the other shore beaches. And you can take your pups with you as well!!
The Potting Shed
in Summer Smiles Honey in Rockwood, PennsylvaniaWe had a great time staying at The Potting Shed. Darci was a wonderful host and the accommodations were better then expected. The interior is nicely decorated and stayed reasonably cool during the 2 muggy days we were there with the 2 ceiling fans. We spent much of our time with the doors open to enjoy the scenic view and twilight vista in the evening.
The highlight of our stay was opting for a Farm to Table dinner on both nights. Seriously... DO NOT MISS out on this offer. Darci is an amazing cook and every single item was delicious. I love lasagna and would rank her farm fresh lasagna as one of the best I've ever had. The dinner comes with a lot of food, so I would suggest skipping lunch to make sure you have room. Also, during our dinner, a chicken opted to sit next to us and keep us company.
