Center 2
in Big Moose Inn Cabins & Campground, MaineThey were very nice and let us switch to a spot right on the lake. Quiet place and a good base for us. We saw a show at the Boreal Theater in town and went on a great hike to the ice cave. The showers were HOT and good pressure.
Site 3 - Elmer's Cove
in Elmer's Cove, MaineTucked away but near attractions
Very nice spot & convenient to many fun activities. Our campsite had a nice view of the water & we had a fire with free wood in a nice fire pit. We didnât need to use the outhouse but it was convenient and had a handwashing station outside. Al was available if needed. There were several people camping but it still felt private.
Rustic Camping Near Bangor&Acadia!
in Lilac Firefly, MaineSweet spot & convenient location
We tucked our Vanny in next to the driveway and it was great. Quiet & felt private even when other people came. The welcome video oriented us. Lovely place to walk around. We didnât do a fire but the fire circles were cute & cozy.

This was our first HipCamp stay & we are hooked. We loved the Heron. Steve & Julie were friendly. Showers were hot. Lovely views & fun spaces to walk through. Art everywhere. The only slight disappointment was the electric didnât work.
