Right off of the lakeshore there’s a small loop of twenty campsites each with a picnic table, grill, water, and electricity and access to showers and restrooms; these sites are good for those camping in tents and RV’s, though we recommend RVers check out Council Bluff instead. If you stay here, though, you may be filled with a profound sense of jealousy, because Camanche Trails is also home to a series of shelters and cabins that have amenities that include basically everything you’d expect in an average home including A/C and heat.
